Tsubasa, Kobato. news

• Tsubasa:

The tankoubon edition of Tsubasa #28 has 9 additional pages from the epilogue chapter that were not printed in the magazine.

cutesherry scanned those pages and uploaded them here. The translation from those pages by starlady38 can be found here. Make sure to check them out!

The final Tsubasa volume has 268 pages. I think that’s the largest tankoubon released by CLAMP to date? I don’t remember how many pages RG Veda #10 has.

I was happy with the additional pages because they reveal a bit more about Fei Wang Reed’s origins and somehow give a more satisfying idea of who he was.

There will be a customer service available for those who buy DVDs 1 to 6 where applicants will be presented with a bottle made of glass just like Kobato’s.

The limited edition of DVD 2 will come with an original Talk CD featuring Kobato and Kohaku, while the limited edition of DVD 3 will come with an Ioryogi plush toy strap (check the picture at the official website).

Lastly, Kadokawa will release an official guide for the TV series entitled TV Anime “Kobato.” CHARACTERS COLLECTION. This will be released on January 29.

“Kobato. Museum” report, Romantic World 31 pictures

Just a heads up that the official website of the Kobato. TV Anime added a report from the Kobato. Museum that is being held at the Ikebukuro Animate store until November 1st.

Check it out here. I like that new anime illustration right at the museum’s entrance with Kobato and Ushagi =)

Update: Jun Fukuyama updated his blog to include some pictures of his upcoming album Romantic World 31.

Among the pictures, it’s possible to see a new illustration drawn by CLAMP:

Kobato. news

Here is the cover of Newtype #11 which is on sale today in Japan:

AmiAmi has information about the upcoming DVD releases for the Kobato. TV Anime.

It will be a total of 12 DVDs containing 2 episodes each released by Kadokawa Entertainment. They will be released in regular and special limited editions.

The limited edition of DVD 1 will come with a Box illustrated by CLAMP to store the first 6 DVDs (hopefully a second Box will be released later to store the other half).

Here is the calendar for both the limited and regular editions:

DVD 1: January 29, 2010.
DVD 2: February 26, 2010.
DVD 3: March 26, 2010.
DVD 4: April 24, 2010.
DVD 5: May 28, 2010.
DVD 6: June 25, 2010.
DVD 7: July 23, 2010.
DVD 8: August 27, 2010.
DVD 9: September 24, 2010.
DVD 10: October 22, 2010.
DVD 11: November 26, 2010.
DVD 12: December 24, 2010.

Daisuke Namikawa as Ginsei… of coooourse, how come I didn’t think of that? xD I don’t know the seiyuus for Genko or Zuishou, but judging by their faces I would say they fit ^^ And Shuuichirou’s seiyuu was Fuuma in X the movie. I think it fits xD
