AmiAmi has information about the upcoming DVD releases for the Kobato. TV Anime.
It will be a total of 12 DVDs containing 2 episodes each released by Kadokawa Entertainment. They will be released in regular and special limited editions.
The limited edition of DVD 1 will come with a Box illustrated by CLAMP to store the first 6 DVDs (hopefully a second Box will be released later to store the other half).
Here is the calendar for both the limited and regular editions:
DVD 1: January 29, 2010.
DVD 2: February 26, 2010.
DVD 3: March 26, 2010.
DVD 4: April 24, 2010.
DVD 5: May 28, 2010.
DVD 6: June 25, 2010.
DVD 7: July 23, 2010.
DVD 8: August 27, 2010.
DVD 9: September 24, 2010.
DVD 10: October 22, 2010.
DVD 11: November 26, 2010.
DVD 12: December 24, 2010.

Daisuke Namikawa as Ginsei… of coooourse, how come I didn’t think of that? xD I don’t know the seiyuus for Genko or Zuishou, but judging by their faces I would say they fit ^^ And Shuuichirou’s seiyuu was Fuuma in X the movie. I think it fits xD

Maybe they will provide more goodies for the limited editions =) So far they only announced the extras from DVD 1. We still have other 11 volumes!

I haven’t even THOUGHT about that because in my head Ginsei has such a strong and depressive voice… not genki like Fye. But I know Namikawa can sound depressive too so it makes sense ^^

This is a bizarre coincidence, but I’m pretty sure Rikiya Koyama provided the voice of Clow Read in the first xxxHOLiC: Kei Drama CD. :0

I can’t find any references to the Drama CD cast in the usual places, but one of the commenters on the Amazon.jp page for the DVD does confirm that Clow’s seiyuu was Rikiya Koyama. found that out a while ago, though.
It’s weird to think that so many voice actors who have done recent work for CLAMP will be participating in this show.

mmmm we still don’t know Toshihiko’s seiyuu u__u…we’ll have to wait until next tuesday to know it since he appeared in Kobato.’s next episode preview ^^ (totally off: why is Kobato. wearing the exactly same clothes in the preview? :/)

OMG what a cast o.O … i knew i’ll be watching this because of Wish animation and Maeno Tomoaki … but Koyama o.O ….. i’m so gonna love this show xD (not to mention that the rest of the seiyuus are just as brilliant as the two i mentioned o.O)

I’m very happy with the cast too! Except for Kobato’s seiyuu, everyone else is very professional (but even Kobato’s seiyuu is perfect for the part and she’s so good in spite of being rather “new”).

Ah NamiDai? XD Ginsei striked me as the shy and uke type. Yoshino would have done a great job with Ginsei XD Not that I’m complaining about NamiDai though XD coincidentally I also support Ioryogi/Ginsei
…Who is Zuishou? I know the seiyuu well Allelujah/Hallelujah Haptism of Gundam 00, Gen of Natsume Yuujinchou and he can do a range of voices.
