And I can’t watch it right now XDDD Is it pretty, tell me, is it pretty? LOL! Okay, I watched it now! The animation looks good! LOVED Kobato’s voice =D Can’t say the same for Ioryogi’s (sounds just like Kurogane).
The anime starts on October 6.

Just a quick update.
According to the recently-updated cast list in the official website of the Kobato. TV Anime, the voices of Chiho and Chise Mihara will be played by Megumi Nakajima. The name sounds fmailiar? It’s because Megumi Nakajima will also sing the ending theme song for the anime.
As you well know, the Kobato. anime starts on October 6.
Voice actor Jun Fukuyama (who voices Watanuki in XXXHOLiC) will release an original album on November 26 called Romantic World 31 (浪漫的世界31).
The CD’s jacket will feature a collage of CLAMP’s original drawing and a picture of Jun Fukuyama.

This month’s Newtype magazine will announce more cast members from the Kobato. TV anime. Even though the magazine is only officially out on the 10th, the information has already leaked through the japanese board 2ch.
Kohaku: Chiwa Saitou
Kiyokazu Fujimoto: Tomoaki Maeno
Sayaka Okiura: Fumiko Orikasa
Chitose Mihara: Houko Kawashima
Kazuto Okiura: Shinichiro Miki
Fujimoto’s seiyuu looks like a newcomer, like Kobato’s seiyuu. The seiyuus of Sayaka, Chitose and the Debt Collector, on the other hand, are all long-time professionals. I was surprised with Chitose’s seiyuu, she did Satsuki in X and Minoru in Chobits, and they are both pretty “down” characters, not “kind” as I imagine Chitose to be… hummm, we’ll see.
Oh and we got to know the Debt Collector’s first name, it’s Kazuto! =D And I’m very happy with the seiyuu choice, Shinichiro Miki is perfect!

Just a quick heads up, NHK has opened a hotsite for the Kobato. TV Anime, which starts on October 6.
The website is, however, still under construction.

Sorry I’m a bit late on posting this, I was out of town ^^;
Kadokawa has launched a campaign to celebrate the upcoming releases of Kobato. and Wish! The campaign consists of earning points and exchanging them for a 15 cm Ioryogi plush strap.
The points will be available on the comics of Kobato. and Wish new version. A total of 1000 prizes are available.
Also good news! The release date of Kobato. #4 was announced! It will be released on December 26, a year after the release of volume 3.
Still on Kobato., Kadokawa has a special pre-order page for the 2010 calendar here.
Lastly, Kadokawa will release a new book called ALL ABOUT CLAMP. This will be the book version of the special magazines CLAMP Newtype that were first published in 2006.
The magazines carried information on all of CLAMP’s works, from RG Veda to Kobato., among from other contents. The uncompilled portion of X known as volume 18.5, first released with CLAMP Newtype [PLATINUM], will also be included in the book.
ALL ABOUT CLAMP will be released on October 24.
