Follow-up: XXXHOLiC #17 Sales Report

XXXHOLiC #17 kept a very good position in its second week of sales, dropping only 5 positions in Oricon’s ranking, still remaining in the Top 10:

• Oricon Weekly Ranking:

04/27~05/03

1st – Naruto #51
2nd – Nodame Cantabile #24
3rd – Katekyo Hitman REBORN! #29
8th – XXXHOLiC #17

Still according to Oricon, XXXHOLiC #17 sold 143.266 copies in its second week, a drop of only 15% in comparison to last week. The overall sales of XXXHOLiC #17 is currently 313.019 copies (regular edition only).

That number is still the lowest 2nd week grossing of the last 5 volumes, but represents, on the other hand, the lowest 2nd week drop of the last 5 volumes.

Glad to see that XXXHOLiC is holding still after a not-so-powerful first week run (guess everybody was buying the top 2 comics). Hopefully it will still be amongst Oricon Top 30 next week?

I’ve been keeping track of XXXHOLiC’s sales since volume 13, and this volume had the lowest grossing of them.
