04/22 – Shonen Magazine #21 & #22 – No Tsubasa scheduled.
05/06 – Shonen Magazine #23 – No Tsubasa scheduled.
05/13 – Shonen Magazine #24 – Chapter 220 – Last chapter of tankoubon 27.
I’m assuming Chapter 220 remains being the final chapter of volume 27 since there’s no color pages announced for this chapter (which could indicate the beginning of volume 28) either on CLAMP-NET.COM or in the magazine as of yet.

No need to say that I’m very curious to what that new project might be. For some reason I don’t think it’s Mangettes, because I think she would use “work” instead of “project” and they already had meetings about Mangettes before. It sounded like it’s the first meeting. I could be wrong too but let’s hope we’ll find out soon what project that might be =)

Hmmmm, if the final chapter of #27 is released on May 13th, are they gonna make it and still release #27 on the 15th of May? o.Ò Sounds somewhat short.

It does. But you know it’s not really May 13. I mean, Kodansha will have CLAMP’s original manuscript a few days prior to that. So it’s possible I think.

And I never really paid attention to how much time exactly passes between the mangashi releases and the tankoubon releases…
Yeah, sometimes they do redraw, but not always.
The gap between magazine and tankoubon is usually a month, but with Tsubasa this interval had been smaller during the TTR OADs period.
Ah I see. I was sure there were at least a few weeks interval but didn’t pay attention at the release of #26^^;

I wonder what the new project is, too! I’d love a whole Horitsuba volume, a Horitsuba (manga) series or a Horitsuba anime, but I doubt it’s anything like that. Let’s wait and see (^^)

I don’t know if to feel excited about the new project or not… new project means CLAMP busy on something = less free time for them = good excuse not to continue ‘X’.

but since they say it’s a ‘new project’ I’m not getting my hopes up.
My hope is the project is about an anime/OAD/movie/music video.
This I would be happy to see and won’t take away from them too much time…

Ohkawa is a master of teasing us. I’m sure that project will reveal itself soon enough.
Can’t decide what’s weirder, a three-week gap in TRC with only a two-day lead time from magazine to tankoubon, or four weeks of steady HOLiC.
I also agree that it’s not Mangettes, because Mangettes isn’t new at this point, at least not to them.
