Kodansha is announcing that volume 6 of XXXHOLiC Rei will have a special limited edition that comes with a Tarot Cards deck.

The deck will include 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana cards with black and white and colored artwork extracted from XXXHOLiC that match the motifs of traditional tarot cards. The cards will be designed by Ensky, which is the company that worked on the CLAMP Exhibition goods.

This special edition will cost 7,700 yens and will be released on November 6th, same release date as the regular edition.

It’s just a given now that every XXXHOLiC Rei volume will come with a special edition. This might even extend to all new CLAMP releases from Kodansha.

That said, this looks like a cool thing to have, but I found it to be a little pricy. We’ll see how the deck will look like.
