CLAMP’s Nanase Ohkawa to be in charge of scripts and series composition of Card Captor Sakura Clear Card arc TV Anime

The February issue of Nakayoshi magazine will announce another very important bit concerning the upcoming TV Anime adaptation of Card Captor Sakura Clear Card arc.

This time they will announce that CLAMP member Nanase Ohkawa will repeat her role as series compositor and script writer!

This is fantastic news! I had already good expectations for this adaptation but I was still holding my breath regarding the scripts and now I can rest assured. We can trust something good and of top quality will come out of this. The cherry on top would be Mokona designing the original cards (if any) and costumes.

Also, since they are announcing that Ohkawa will be responsible not only for the series composition but also for scripts, I think it’s safe to assume that she will write the scripts for all episodes.

This is really, really great news!

  1. The news for this adaptation just keeps getting better and better! With what happened with the Tsubasa anime, I guess that CLAMP wants to make sure that their creation gets the adaptation it deserves. And for CCS to get the a sequel that is on par with the original series, this is a very good decision indeed! I really can’t wait for the release. Why does it have to be so far..?
