WTF WTF? CHIBI KOBATO WITH FUJIMOTO PLAYING THE PIANO WITH JAPANESE CLOTHES AND PICTURE OF FUJIMOTO HOLDING CHIBI KOBATO? WTF WTF?
My only guess is that this is from a different life? Kobato and Fujimoto’s previous lives? Or maybe a different world? O.o Ioryogi asked if the dream was about the place she wanted to go, but she neither confirmed nor denied it.
Waaah Piffle Pizza! Waaah Touya =DDDDDDD I’m glad in the end he did make an appearance! If you look at the cast list in the ending, it says “Touya Kinomoto”! =D AND it’s the original seiyuu from the CCS anime, Tomokazu Seki!!! =D
Too bad it seems like we won’t see the Green Drugstore, though =( I was looking forward to it the most.
I was intrigued by what Okiura’s employee said about him… he won’t be around for a while? He’s having troubles higher up? With his father, perhaps? I was expecting to see some Okiura/Sayaka interaction =/
It was very sad to see Yomogi being demolished =( Such a nice place full of joy !!!!! But that’s CLAMP for you, crush that thing down!!!!!!! (and our hearts are crushed along). I didn’t think the school would actually be demolished, so that was a nice surprise (I love unexpected events =D)
Flashback scene of the first (?) encounter between Iorogi (in his true form!) and Kobato (without her hat!) !!! So whatever she has under her hat, it was put after that scene… and where is she at? It seems underwater O.o Is she like… an unborn soul or something?
Ioryogi tries to ask for Ushagi-san to extend Kobato’s deadline, but Ushagi-san says “no, no, no”. By the way, love LOVE Ushagi’s sound and its macabre laugher!!!! XDDD
Next week, final 2 episodes!!!

Word on “Seki Tomokazu IS Touya”, and I wanted to see him in Ushagi costume too, that would have been so cool, but I guess they thought “it has already been done in anime once, let’s do something different”. And CLAMP did the same, making a reference to the anime in the manga.

Seeing Touya was such a pleasant surprise!
But as for the rest of the episode…I’m afraid that this is the first episode where I thought ‘I can’t believe this is Kobato.’. After the last two weeks, I was hoping that the character development for Fujimoto would stick. But, no. And with how far he’s come in the manga it just ruined the episode for me.
I’ve always kind of put up with the differences because the anime was still cute. But it wasn’t enough for this episode.

I didn’t like the character development in the anime either, if that’s all that what are going to get (aka, no second season), I think it was poorly done. Everything else was great, though.

No! I think this is anime original plot or something O.o In the manga, Kobato has no memories of Fujimoto (or whoever that is who looks a lot like Fujimoto).

lol @ Piffle and lol @ Touya. I tried looking at the list @ ED but I couldn’t see “Touya Kinomoto” though…
I thought he said that Okiura will do fine (just a way to not let Sayaka worry or something, but I think he’s doing fine taking care of business on his own probably related to his father).
I thought that Ioryoyi in his true form was talking with Kobato look-alike (who, talked in manga, that the goddess that Ioryogi fell in love, but got lost her memory because of what Ioryogi did and eventually became Kobato… that’s what I guess with both recent manga info. and anime info…. sorry if I spoiled it!) without the hat.
Ushagi’s evil and cute laughter~! lol~! He does not allow Ioryogi’s favor to extend it.
I cannot wait for next week (2 eps.)!

Yes, that could be true if we consider that they will use that part of the manga plot, but they could also come up with something completely different for the anime.

I have a feeling (no, I think I’m sure) that the anime has a lot of deviations from the manga, but I really like it.
Too bad I felt that the first few episodes were dragging, because if it hadn’t been that dragging, this would have been better than CCS (IMO). I also love the concept of the story about the heaven and war and what happened to Ioryagi and Co., it makes the story even more interesting than it is already.

This was a…ok episode.
I really was upset at Fujimoto in the end 8/ Manga!Fuji forever! ~
And I’m absolutely nuts over the random Fuji/Kobato flashback scenes. xD My anime theory about Kobato living with Fujimoto in an alternate world looks canon D8
