• OAD:
The official website for the Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC OADs has been updated carrying now information about the upcoming XXXHOLiC OAD. Here are some specifications:
Original Animation DVD XXXHOLiC・Rou
Release date: April 23, 2010.
Running time: 40 minutes.
Price: 4,800 yens.
Privilege: Tall DVD case illustration drawn by CLAMP.
Staff and cast will be the same, and as I announced previously, Nanase Ohkawa will also write the script for this installment.
There will be a campaign for the reservations done by bookstores, you have to fill the reservation form (PDF available in the website), deliver it at a bookstore, take a picture of the bookstore and send the picture to a QR code that can be seen in the form as well.
The prizes of the campaign include tickets to the OAD premiere, which will be held in Tokyo in March, and a “Mu jet graph” (out of 5 available) featuring a new illustration drawn by CLAMP.
Very happy to know that this one will have 40 minutes! =D And lots of original goodies there. DVD case illustrated by CLAMP, new illustration for the campaign and there is also a premiere scheduled! I hope CLAMP will attend that one =)

Finally some substantial OAD news! It looks like it’ll be at least partly the Rou arc! YES! That means they’ve gotta have Yuuko’s death. TT___TT but YESYESYES!
And OMFG Watanuki, I’ll never figure out how in the world Doumeki supresses the nosebleeds.

Actually, I just passed by amazon.co.jp to see if I could find trc28 (and no, it’s STILL nowhere to be seen T___T) and ended up on this article : CL295 卓上オールCLAMPカレンダー 2010
It seems like it’s a desktop calendar of Clamp too? I thought at first it was the Clamp No Kiseki one, but it was already released October 28th, while this one I linked you to is scheduled for November 7th. Do you have any information about it?

Hummm that’s very weird, and new to me xD I would guess that this is the same CnK Calendar… maybe it’s a new edition? Like, they ran out of copies of the first edition and maybe they’ll release a new batch on Nov. 7.

I have to say, I’m full of love for this new Installment. I wonder what kind of sexy voice Wata’s voice actor will do for his “Yuko impersonation”!
I’m also glad to see some TRC illustrations (though they’re not in book form . . . .), though the three back to back chapters of holic are making me very happy. (maybe the reason there was no xxxHolic this week was the TRC illustrations?)

I see I’m evidently alone in thinking that Watanuki looks disturbing–it’s almost as if Yuuko possessed him instead of passing on. (On another note, am I also the only one who doesn’t want to see her die onscreen?)
It’s a given that some of the content for Tsubasa’s ending will be members-only, but we can only hope that there are some public pictures, too!
