Animedia and Newtype cam shots

kitsune_no_ame has previews of this month’s anime magazines Newtype and Animedia over here.

In Animedia, CLAMP drew the illustrations for the final chapter of the novel Kamigami-tachi no Gosui.

So pretty! But this time we got less pages =/

In Newtype, there’s an advertisement for Satsuki Igarashi’s book, Shimarisu no Hoobukuro (しまりすのほおぶくろ, translated by Newtype USA as Chipmunk Cheeks), where it’s possible to check its cover:

Satsuki Igarashi’s Shimarisu no Hoobukuro goes on sale June 10.

  1. Wow, it’s so pretty~ I hope Gate 7 will have such pretty illustrations. If they’re all Holic-like I’m going to cry ;;; (Holic is fine, but the illustrations become all the same after you see 3 or 4)

I can’t wait to read Kobato!

  2. Well, from the limited cover on Gate 7, I think it kinda looked like Watanuki. Still, so cute~!

About this though: I’m really starting to wonder if I’ll get my CLAMP fix. No matter what I do, there is always, always more. 😀

  3. *still kind of numb from this week’s Tsubasa*

That’s so lovely. I hope someday CLAMP will compile all their novel illustrations ever into one giant heavy art book so we can admire all the prettiness.

  4. That illustration is so pretty =]

Hey, do you know of any website where you can get Satsuki’s book internationally? There’s a Sanseido Bookstore near me, but I’m not sure if they’ll stock it. Thanks in advance!

  5. Hi, it seems you are wrong about there being less pages, kitsune_no_ame just forgot to scan in a full-page illustration from page 77 of the male character in a Clow-like cape with a frog on his left shoulder.
