– I’m loving all the blood exchange *-* Damn, what is going to happen to Fye now? Is it just a false alarm? O.o

You’re very right ! He looks so happy with himself ! And here looks like the parts were exchanged. Subaru is more like the big brother (or sister, according to CLAMP XD) of Kamui in X, while in Tsubasa, Kamui seems to behave like Subaru’s guardian or something ^^ Are they really twins or is Hokuto around? O.o

Tell me about it… I was utterly disappointed. With such a bloody world like this, to throw away a color page like that with children!Sakura+Syaoran is so mean … we have enough of that already. I guess they want to save Subaru for the deluxe cover =\

Although, Syaoran was looking really damn creepy in that 2 page spread with the blue eye and all, I am sure CLAMP could have made a much more interesting one with Subaru and Kamui. I hope Subaru is on the deluxe edition cover! I think CLAMP is keeping up their deceptively happy splash pages for the really dramatic/violent chapters. It seems to be that the darker a chapter gets, the fluffier a splash page gets.

To me, the 2 page splash had Sakura in an altered verison of one of CCS!Sakura’s dresses, right? Syaoran’s metal fingers like a bird reminded me of feathers. Then of course their pose looks like its harking to another CLAMP series though I can’t put my finger on which one.

Yupiiii! Welcome back, chibiyuuto!! And with tsubasa! Ah, i´m so happy! What a great image of clone-syao- With blue eye, yeeey!!- so creepy, somehow like a vampire himself. he look so gdm cool! I´m so happy for staying awake so late tonight. now i´m going to dream with my beloved and now evil kid. you got to admit that he look great using magic and been mean… but i want sweet syao back, i love him… sob, sob.
Like i said before, it was a slow chapter, and it ends in a tremendous climax, to make us wait 2 weeks now. tch… but don´t worry, i´m sure fye is going to be ok. sadly, i think he might also become a vampire, like subaru and kamui. i think this will be a great time for seichiro to make his entrance… hum, is he going to pursue fye also if he become a vampire?
And i agree that subaru knows yuuko, probably because she helped him and kamui to travel through dimensions. Seichiro does the same, at the cost of his eye- hey, a magic eye, like fye´s?- and that makes me wonder: what was their price, i mean, kamui-subaru?

I also loved the blue eye ! I knew (we all knew ^^) CLAMP wouldn’t miss the chance to draw him now that he’s got a blue eye ^^
I don’t think Fye is gonna turn into a vampire because that was why Kurogane’s blood was used (to nullfil the effect of Kamui’s blood, or something like that). However, after seeing his expression on the next page, it does seem like things will be different from now on with Fye.

Pois é, mas até entao, eu costumava acreditar q X teria 20 volumes, e Tsubasa 21. Mas no Anime Expo a Ohkawa disse q X vai ter 21 volumes, e numa outra entrevista ela disse q TRC ia ser maior do q X, mesmo que X voltasse a ser publicado.

How can I not be happy? Two Subaru chapter in one week is total bliss!
Have missed Genki Subaru very much and it is nice to see him smiling and looking generally content with his lot.
Love the exchange of roles between the ‘twins’ Kamui being the protective big brother is so sweet!
It was creepy to see Syaoran’s newely acquired blue eye and I understand why he was chosen as the colour page…I still wish it could have been Suabru and Kamui though!
I wonder if Yuuko knows all the Subaru’s?
Much love for the blood sharing…one can but hope that this has/will trigger backstory from the ‘twins’.
Also now that I’ve seen how the blood sharing is done can not but wonder if this is an explanation of Subaru’s gloves: wearing them to hide the scar on his wrist.
I wonder does this mean Fye will become ‘immortal’ just like Sei-chan?
Finally as to the Hokuto V Kamui thing…just looking at how very alike they have made Subaru and Kamui here I’d say that Kamui is the other twin…or at least the twin to which Sei-chan was refering.

Yuuko knows at least 2 Subarus, this one and the X ones… but she probably knows a lot more because well… it’s Subaru… and it’s Yuuko… the great charas always know each others XDDD

As for Fye, I don’t think he’ll become immortal because:
1 – He won’t be a real breed (like Kamui and Subaru), because he’s only getting half of a vampire’s blood.
2 – Yuuko said that if Kurogane dies, Fye will die as well because he can only feed of Kurogane’s blood =\

As he’s taken Subaru’s blood he’s, by what’s been discussed in this recent chapter, become a Vampire also…thus I assume he has all the vampire traits…would explain why he hadn’t aged since the last Shaoran had seen him. Also the immortality thing always seemed to me as a way to find Subaru rather than an actual need to live forever!

Fye will become a half-breed because he only got half of a vampire’s blood, so I assume that he might bot age that much xD But I don’t think he’ll become immortal.

I believe this is a mistranslation or something because I went to check BOTH the translation and the raw scans awhile ago and saw no indication that Kamui said so. The closest they ever get in saying something about the ‘same blood’ is when Yuuko herself called them purebreds vampires and their blood is important to save Fai/Fye.
Do tell me if I miss something. ^^

It has been due to this that I realized how much I love him the way he is/was, he is and acts like Vash the Stampede, always kind and smiling but with a deep inner sorrow… that makes the character absolutely huggable and was Clamp who made me a KxF shipper…. arggh! it has been difficult to resist… I’m weak, I know XDDDDDDDDDDDD
I like angst but I also liked him being cheerful and teasing Kurogane TT_TT Anyway, things are going to be VERY interesting from now on ^____________^

I haven’t started reading Tsubasa yet, but in volume 1 of xxxHolic Yuuko mentions Subaru and says she’s known him since he was “this little”. I don’t know if she was talking about this Subaru, though.

I was expecting cleaned-up scans of the 124 chapter, and here you come, with the 125 ! I was absolutely psychologically not prepared to such astonishing events !
I can’t believe it, kurogane’s blood to save fye… Who would ever have wondered it at TRC’s beginning ?? Since the gang arrived in this world, everything seems to get creepier and creepier, I wonder if the atmosphere will come back to a less blood-and-death-and-yuuko-asking-price level ! I’m not complaining, though ^_^ !

Posts for Chapters 124 and 125
Yo, Chibi-Yuuto! I was waiting anxiously to post my comments with you about the Chapter 124! First of all, I love the Kuro-rin splash page with the sword and attitude combo. That was one exciting chapter with all that angst going on there! The emerging of Subaru: Yatta!!! He is so bishounen when I saw him in the chapter, I felt like when Sakura Kinomoto goes crazy in love with Yukito Tsukishiro (Hanyaan!!). ^o^
Love that scene when Kurogane carrying Fai (with a little butt touching: Hyuu-Hyuu!) coming to Li Syaoran (which I referring that to him for now). I glad that Yuuko stop him from doing anything brash. But what I like the most about this chapter is the anger of Kurogane (love the Hulk-smash like on the wall) when Fai simply wants to die easily.
Wai, is this the Kurogane asking for Yuuko a favor to save his life? Like it says the title of this chapter, what will be the price for Fai’s life?
And then I saw that Chapter 125 came out earlier than expected. About the splash page it was okay, but I really wanted the Kamui and Subaru combo. And the angst continues. The combination of blood for water that was surprising demand for the price of Fai’s life. Another surprise is that Subaru knows well Yuuko (bikkuri deshita!). I like Kurogane now more than ever as he decides to save Fai’s life no matter what the cost! Will there be a miracle that Fai will be saved? Start praying for it!

Water is very precious for the people of that world. I love how CLAMP is trying to show (even if very subtly) that water will be very precious in the future, if we don’t take care of it now. However, Kamui paid the price, and I’m sure he’s not giving a damn for the water ^^;;;;
I hope they’ll stay in this world for longer, there’s still so much to see, like Fuuma and his gang u.u And I hope Seishirou will arrive soon !!! Kamui has been warning Subaru about him for ages, it’s about time for him to show up.

I had abandoned Tsubasa months back due to the simplicity of the plot but now, thanks to the appearing characters of Kamui AND Subaru, I must say that Tsubasa got me interested in it in the end. XD
So, yeah, hate to say it but Kamui and Subaru are the ones who drive me to pick up where I left off in the series.
Yet that being said, I got interested in the whole Clone! Syaoran thing, and Kurogane/Fai relationship. I think this series is not so bad after all. Definately caught my attention.

Indeed. I REALLY have no idea. CLAMP already said once that Subaru and Kamui ARE like sisters, but at the same time, Hokuto is the right sister for Subaru, there’s no doubt about that. Does a person becoming a vampire changes the personality? I thought they remain the same other than the fact that they now crave for human blood instead of normal food and that their eyes can change as well. Well, we just had to wait for 2 torturous weeks to see that.

Well, for the record, their vampire outfit is from the same design and they wore the same pendant/necklace. But honestly, that really does not proof anything other than the fact that Clamp is lazy to design another different outfit for either of them…or is it? Maybe Clamp WANTED Kamui to be his twin and thus, does not care about the whole ‘alike in look’ factor?

It’s vague and can mean anybody but since he mentioned Sei-chan before and then in his next sentence said, ‘that guy’, I pretty much assumed that Subaru gave his blood to Sei-chan. I may be wrong.

Not that I know of. But Fye has just passed through a big shock, he’s eyeless (so far) and struggling to escape that. What I meant on affecting his personality is the trauma that he might have after all this trouble.

Actually, their pendant is a *little* different. Subaru’s wings are “rounder” than Kamui’s, not to mention they are twisted (the black one of Kamui is the white one of Subaru and vice-versa).

As I said in ‘s LJ, I’m not too fond of the vampire-overusage either, but I’m really happy with Kurogane’s price. He’s a very independent, loner type of man and willing to give up so much of his own freedom (and especially for Fai!) is a really serious thing. I really want to see the aftereffects of his decision.
Oh, and one more thing, I think I’ll be doing weekly translations for Tsubasa and HOLiC too, so feel free to check those out as well in my LJ. ^^

Who knows, eh? XD I think that, whatever they changed, it shouldn’t affect so directly to the main plot. They might add something here or something there, that would make the fangirls crazy but, I don’t think they would majorly change the main story.

– Syaoran and Sakura are, in my opinion, the two most boring CLAMP characters ever created. The evil didn’t even really help that much. I am never happy to see them crowding out more interesting characters on any colored pages, ever.
– I’m sad there are multiple Subarus! I kind of wanted him to be a one-of-a-kind model, personally. Although I’m happy to see him in his cute velvet-vampire drag, anyway.
– I think that “Fay D. Flourite” means “false alarm” in some obscure sub-Saharan dialect. However, I also think that only good things can come from this new plot development. And when I say “good” I mean “fanservicey.” Woohoo!

I partially agree with you but they’re also my OTP from all my different fandoms. What I miss is how CCS!Syaoran acted towards Sakura before he got all love sick towards her. You know, he was a bit rough and brash. Then he fell in love and became protective and so of course, ALL Syaorans in ALL dimensions are in love with Sakura. I kinda like that soulmatey aspect when CLAMP likes to maim relationships.

A touch belated, but you know what MY biggest curiosity about the latest few chapters is, beyond being a bit miffed that we don’t get Vampire!Hokuto? Is all this slinging around of Fye’s magic, of wild fluctuations in his life essence, going to be what FINALLY wakes up Ashura-oh? Because I, and certainly many others, have been itching to know what the crap is up between him and Fye for approximately the entire series now.

That Kurogane x Fay plot twist is pure fanservice, they are bond to end up together now, Kurogane, Fay and Mokona (Fay was the one who was suppose to keep Mokona in the end) ^_^
