It seems that the “big announcement” concerning Tsubasa is the release of new CD(s) Drama(s). My thoughts are: If Ohkawa is not writting it/them, I’m not interested xD Yeah, I’m that radical.
It might not be the -only- big announcement. So far all I know is that on edition 20 of SM the readers will be able to apply for a CD Drama, since all 3 have already been released, I’m assuming this is brand new.
Also, the official site for the anime has been updated with the titles for episodes 1 and 2 of season 2:
1 – Dangerous Race.
2 – Three Badges.
So yes, pretty obvious now that the second season will indeed start at Piffle, but let me clear that this DOESN’T MEAN we won’t be seeing Sharano/Shurano arc later, okay? Chill you guys, it’s probably just a change of plans.

Well, still, *headdesk*
It’s the trend this yeah: move sagas with a criteria coming out of the staff’s butt.

I know… all we can do it’s to accept it. I’m curious to see how they handle it though. I hope it doesn’t ruin the series.

why oh why do they have to do out of synch with the manga!? but like you said, despite the way in which they are placing the story timeline, it doesn’t mean they will completely skip that part. ::crosses fingers and starts praying to the Clamp Goddesses:: Clamp don’t fail me now ^_^

The most pausible reason would be that they want to put the lighter arc first, so that the series will be getting darker and darker. That’s the only thing I can think of.

Ahaha Why do you say that? XD

Because you won’t be into the new cd unless Ohkawa’s involved.

Ah, yeah… that is in fact true ^^” My interest goes to zero if CLAMP’s participation was small or even null.

Well, I’m still not happy that they’re moving arcs around, but I’d be unhappier if they did *remove* it altogether. I don’t think they would do that, though: usually anime series have the problem with running out of material and having to create filler, so it doesn’t make sense to cut out a well-written arc.

Yeah I’m quite sure they won’t cut the arc because I’ve seen at some anime magazines that it’ll be there.

I think they moved around arcs to allow more drama in the second half of the season. I mean, let’s face it: Piffle World would not be a good world to end on.

Yeah, you got a point in there, indeed.

My opinion is that they want to do the bunny country(can’t remember the name) as a filler and they want the dark stories to come slowly,it gets pretty more mature in the following countrys!Though i’d love to see Tokyo world NOW!

Bunny country as a filler? O.o A filler to me it’s something completely useless and made-up, and I don’t think that’s the case for the Contry of Idols xD
But you got it right, they want the darker elements to come slowly.

Thanks for the info like always!!!
I’m still optimistic about the Sharano/Shurano arc, but I would prefer that arc first…

HAHAHA It souds radical but it DOES MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE XD
About the Sharano arc, I think like you about leaving it for later, but this has nothing to do with RGVeda Charaters propierty rights, right? No way, right?

Ah no, I don’t see why that would be a problem o.o
