Oh my gosh ;___; Kobato has been taken away from the HEADLINE NEWS section… we all know what this means——! *cries*
For the newcomers, this means: BREAK, with no return predictions (just like what happened to X and GD).
Why that? I don’t get… did CLAMP ripped Kobato’s head off and Sunday GX is not accepting? XDDD Because the magazine is there, RUNNING, it wasn’t canceled or something, I don’t get.
It’s a curse ! Kobato is CLAMP’s 4th (OMG FOURTH!) unfinished work (if you count Shin Shunkaden, 5th).
Tsubasa:
Next chapters scheduled (red means new):
11/16 – Shonen Magazine #51 – No Tsubasa scheduled.
11/22 – Shonen Magazine #52 – Chapter 98.
11/30 – Shonen Magazine #53 – Chapter 99. (Last chapter of tank 13).
12/07 – Shonen Magazine #01 – Chapter 100 – 3 color pages. (beginning of tank 14 ! And yey, chapter 100 ! Definitely a special chapter !).
12/14 – Shonen Magazine #02 & 03 – No Tsubasa scheduled.
There are 3 Drama CDs coming out in the next months:
Chapter 1 coming out on December 16th
Chapter 2 coming out on February 1st, 2006.
Chapter 3 coming out on March 24, 2006.
I’m not giving a detailed attention to those dramas because of two reasons:
They hardly will have CLAMP’s touch (no original drawings and hardly written by Ohkawa).
My arm is hurting like hell because I’ve been using too much my PC/Photoshop =_= so it hurts when I type T-T
The cover for Tsubasa & XXXHOLiC’s 2006 calendar is finally available, and it follows the same Mokona=Modoki model as the previous ones:
The release date was also announced: November 26th.

*phew* For those who don’t know what Puri Sute is, it’s Tsubasa’s anime NetRadio show, presented by Mokona and Sakura’s seiyuu, which means you can listen to it on the internet \o/\o/\o/\o/\o/
The show is weekly and CLAMP will be guest on the show that will be aired on December 27th. I will remind you all, don’t worry. And better, I managed a way to save the audio file (ne, Sakura-chan? ^^) and I’ll certainly upload it to server as soon as I get, so that you all don’t have to deal with bad streamings >_<
Anyway, since the 1st time I listened to this show, this thought occurred to me "How wonderful would it be if CLAMP was their guest someday *0*" and awww, they heard my prays ^___^ (It'll be Christmas miracle xDDD).
Syaoran, Kurogane and Fye's seiyuus will be there too, man, what a mess ! XD I kind of wished CLAMP were alone there, with the 2 hosts and that's it… I want to hear them and that's all xDDD
Kyaaaaa, I'm gonna hear their voices again ^__^

and that sucks about kobato!! i read all of the clamp no lumiere scanlations of the series and i really liked it. hopefully they wont have they’ll start on it again soon.

About Kobato, I’m very sad too… but maybe that’s what they planned in advance… maybe that’s why the “Temporary”… who knows when it’ll return… maybe it’s a work CLAMP does to change a little their routine at Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC

Biuuuuu why Kobato will be not finished. So now I don’t understand CLAMP. For what they start Kobato if CLAMP supposed that they won’t finished it. So we’ve wait to 22 for a new Tsubasa chapter ehhh…

Ah, Yuuto-kun, I had the same hand problem a few years ago. That might be carpal tunnel syndrome (well, I don’t know if I had it, but it could be). What I did was having a break, and then buying some special stuff to recline the hands while typing and using the mouse. Had no problem ever since.

About my hand, thanks for worring and for the advice too ! I DID use a lot of photoshop on the last days… and brushes… I was stroking a whole pic… over and over again… so I overload my arm… but now I’m a bit better and yes I should stay away a bit from the PC ^__^

No more Kobato?! But it makes no sense…! Why push her image with the CLAMP SU merchandise? Why have iPod’s created with Ioryogi on them… hell, just why create a manga that has 12 volume appeal, and nt even finish 1 volume’s worth?! *weeps*

I know but they would hardly start a new series if they were THAT busy… they always worked with the average of 4 works… I don't think they stopped because they are busy… o.O

I want to believe I have nothing in my arm… I forced it way too much while using photoshop on the last days…. and I want to believe my arm is only “tired”…. because is not really ACHING… I feel it is tired ^^” But I’m better today ^_~

Too bad about Kobato; it’s amazing that a group as famous and talented as CLAMP can’t find a home for their works 😮
And, ooh, the calander! I must have it! I recently moved and I accidentally left the 2005 CLAMP calander hanging on the bedroom door *sniffles* So I simply _have_ to have the 2006 to make up for it 😉

So, Kobato officially joined the “in stand by” work list, with Clover (1997-99), X (1992-2003) and Gouhou drug (2000-03) (at least, it’s not in the “ditched for good” list like Hagunsei Senki (1989-90), Shin shunkaden (1992-94), Suito no Dragon (1994) and Yumegari (1997), or maybe just not yet). -_-

More likely, Kobato was getting too girlish in the second part for a seinen manga (maybe Ioryogi was getting friendly … probably not ^_~) and Clamp refused to change the story to fit the magazine’s standards. Can they just publish the first tankoubon before the mood of the readers pass to something else? They said Kobato was a well liked series on the website, it always had an anouncement on the next issue’s page (when it was to be in the next issue, that is), it seemed to be an appreciated series in Sunday GX and Clamp’s website is still on the links page of Sunday GX, so it doesn’t seem to be an open war, or at least not on Shogagukan’s point of view…
Ok, enough rambling (I’m likely wrong in half of these statement anyway). I’m happy we will get an important chapter for tsubasa’s chapitre 100, and I’m happily surprised to see there will be two chapters of Holic in December. Only two chapters to anounce and Holic 8 will be complete, make me wonder if Tsubasa 14 will have less chapters than the second part’s Tankoubon, because Holic 8 is almost over while they only begin Tsubasa 14 …
