For Tsubasa, nice splash page, I wanna see Seishirou again >_< maybe Lecourt will be the world? And what's that lamp for?
Anyway, more Kurogane's backstory, it's cool to see he didn't "born" strong… that he also sucked at fighting ^^
Then he grows to a Teenager and he's not as genki as before XD His dad died, I believe and he sees his mom dying -__- argh…
This is so like CLAMP… the little boy seeing his mom/guardian dying in front of him and he can't do nothing about it… and the death was after all to protect him… yeah, you know who I mean, that boy who 2 wings on his back.
Indeed the death scene reminded me of X not only because of that fact, but also by the way it was drawn.
So I'm hoping to see more about the princess next chapter… how he managed to work for Tomoyo-hime, also how the hell is got his scar.

About Holic, I was so please to see the kuda-kitsune back! (well, he wasn’t there of the whole tankoubon 7, I was afraid he had outgrow his purpose). And Watanuki looks so focused and determined! He’s more confident than ever! I like the way this story is unfolding.
About Tsubasa, I’m starting to thimk my sister was right, we will get Kurogane’s back story in the book because we won’t see Nihon-koku before the epilogue. But as you said, the final scene sure remind X.

Indeed Watanuki is VERY determined and I’m dying to know why… it does feel like XXXHOLiC is reaching some crucial point… maybe not the end, but some important part…

I don’t think it’s the end yet (or maybe it’s just an wishful hope?) there’s still a lot to do. I’d say there will be at least another book after this one and more likely between 2 and 4. Watanuki still need to improve his confidence and skill, finally get that Himawari is just toying with him and help Syaoran-tachi in whatever way (Yuuko said so in the end book 1’s fourth part).

Ah yes, sure, as I said, it’s just reaching some crucial point… after the eye arc, everything will change.
But whatever is that BIG NEWS, we’ll know for sure about XXXHOLiC’s future… because if it’s either an animated series or another movie, then we’ll have the manga been published until late 2006 for sure.

Ok let’s see Kurugane’s origin is so Clamp!(which means marvelous)second does this mean that after Syaoran fininshes with Kuro-chan Fye will touch the book and then we’re going to see his origins(Kurogane was the one who touched it last begfore Syaoran got sucked in)HYUUU!Ok no one seemed to care but the best thing about the chapter is the black and white cover SEISHIROU-SAMA!!!!!!!!!
