The main cast of the movie adaptation for XXXHOLiC has been announced:
Yuuko: Oohara Sayaka (as said on the previous post).
Watanuki: Fukuyama Jun – He played Koutarou Kobayashi in Angelic Layer.
Doumeki: Nakai Kazuya – He played Roronoa Zoro in One Piece and Wakka in FF and Kingdom Hearts games.
I really liked the choices… I heard Yuuko’s seiyuu voice yesterday and I think she’ll do very good. She has the Wisdom + lovely kind of voice (Yuuko can be loved sometimes), and I think she can be SMEXY, hiragizawa-san ^^ She just needs to pretend she’s seducing someone XD
Watanuki’s one is really good as well… Koutarou is very like Kimihiro in some points. They both are very good and polite boys, both shy and clumsy. There’s a sample of his voice in this page.
As for Doumeki’s, I really liked it as well… you can hear a sample of his voice in his page. He played Zoro and that says a lot to me, I think he can make a bad-mood guy very well.
No Himawari, huh? I guess she won’t appear that much on the movie… as it says “Main Cast”.
Little changes in CLAMP’s schedule:
There won’t be XXXHOLiC in next YM (March 14th), it’ll be back on the edition after that.
CLAMPAZAR has been postponed to March 30th (it was previously said to be released on March 21st).
Animedia #4 has Tsubasa featuring it’s cover! There’s a small and cute pic you can check here.
And a bit off-topic, Today is the Birthday of my (and many others’) favorite HP Teacher, Remus Lupin! Yey! He’s a pisces as well!! ^__^ Happy Birthday!

Those two are great…. the casting is so good !!! Fukuyama is perfect as watanuki and Please don’t even ask my opinion on Nakai Kazuya because I so fangirl his mugen in Samurai Champloo

Hmmm, Mizuiro and Albert’s voice? Uh… Not what I had in mind… -_-U It’s a… ukeish voice. TOO ukeish. Well, it’s not bad, I think. I have to rewatch when Mizuiro got angry in one episode too see the Watanuki effect XD
Don’t bother with the AL references, I can’t remember the voiced I heard, it was a long time ago.
Doumeki is Mugen! XD I so want to see that.

Yeah, sure ^^ Each character is a new voice to make… of course there’s the similarities, but he can make adaptations.

I think it’d be cool if it was a bit different, though
It could be by the same seiyuu but with a different touch ^o^

It’s just that I’ve only seen Watanuki’s seiyuu in opposite roles: as an angsty, angsty guy and as a cutesy comedy relief. However, I’m not disappointed. It’s not the choice I had in mind, but he’s a good actor. So it could be alright.
I just had bad luck and only heard Yuuko’s seiyuu in a cutesy cameo as a mommy. So… er. And her voice is nothing like I had in mind. It had to be hoarse but seductive. She’s not hoarse, at least. I’ll take your word on the seductive part, then. Not convinced, though.

So far, the only that can’t buy me is Yuuko. Sorry, I heard her voice sample in her site, and she’s not MY Yuuko. I don’t care how sexy she can be, she doesn’t sound right, period. She’s too cutesy feminine for me. That voice can’t get drunk with Clow’s voice.
Watanuki’s, after a session of re-hearing his voice in several roles, convinced me. I’ll post ripped clips. As for Doumeki, he’s perfect.

No way! xD I think he’s a great Doumeki, he has that kind of an attitude. I was really surprised by Fukuyama Jun, but I know he’ll be good, yay! ^_^ As for Yuuko, I already said I haven’t heard her seiyuu, I’m looking forward to it ^_^
