The NEWS BOARD section of CLAMP-NET.COM announced today that CLOVER will be re-released in deluxe editions.

Volumes 1 and 2 will come out in July 17th costing 1000 yens each.

No details were given about the specifications of this edition yet (probably hardcover and extra color pages).

That’s great news !! Although it’s normal for a CLAMP work to be re-released some time after their original release, not all of them gets deluxe editions (only CCS was worth enough, I think). And I can’t help but to get my hopes up that this can be a good opportunity for finally resuming the series (if that’s not what they are planning already).

It has to do well on sales so that Kodansha will show interest in publishing the remaining of CLOVER, they could release them directly into this new edition, there’s only 2 volumes left. Something worth mentioning is that the new edition is going out under the Nakayoshi label, the magazine where CCS and Rayearth were published but not CLOVER, since the magazine it used to run, Amie, got cancelled.

Fingers crossed everyone!

PS: Oh, and by the way, yesterday it’s been exact one year since the CLOVER DVD was released. Curious.

I’ve been wanting this for years…

Our fellows at posted a link to a polish CLAMP fansite where you can find the ULTRA rare Program of CLOVER’s Video-clip. It’s a short book (just like the Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC ones), with staff and CLAMP interviews, storyboards, some pics and other cool stuff.

The thing was VERY well-scanned, in high-resolution and it’s by direct download, just perfect !

First of all, I want to thank ALL and each of you for the amazing (and somehow expected) feedback I had due to CLOVER’s Music Video. For your gratitude, I mean. I got over 100 comments and I wish I could welcome each of you in particular but that would turn half of the comments in “You’re welcome ^__^”s. Also, I got around 10 people who friended me in one day, which is great, so Thank you all very much indeed *bows*.

Second, and as important as first, I would like to make a correction regarding CLOVER’s original source. I originally posted that atzur-san’s friend was the one who recorded it on the theaters of Japan. And apparently that’s not really the case.

He did get it from his friend and he did let me know about it (and I’ll be eternal grateful for that), the only difference is that his friend didn’t actually record it, s/he got it from a site. But that’s not saying that Atzur-san lied, it’s more like he must have misunderstood the situation. There’s no need to enter in bigger details because that’s not the point of this post.

As I said in my previous post, the people who somehow managed to get this ULTIMATE CLAMP rarity deserves full credit, and we must knowledge the amazing work they did by bringing this video to “life”.
