The third volume of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ dropped to the 27th position in Oricon’s weekly ranking, with an estimate of 20,362 copies sold in its fourth week of sales.

The above numbers are for the regular edition. The Special Edition (OAD) did not appear in this week’s top 50.

Combining the sales for both versions, Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ #3 sold an estimate of 303,639 copies overall. That is still slightly less than the overall fourth week sales for volumes 1 and 2, but volume 3 is holding up really well!

It is worth mentioning that Oricon only takes into account a certain number of shops. These numbers are only an estimate and it’s possible that the real figures are higher than these.

Kodansha has recently announced that the Clear Card arc series has 1.5 copies in print.

The chart below shows the progress in the sales of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ over the weeks and compares it with previous volumes’ performances (click on it for dynamic version):Like I said, volume 3 is holding up really nicely! It’s only a little less than 14,000 copies behind volume 2 when comparing to the fourth week sales. Also, volume 2 never made it to the fifth week in the top 50 but it looks like volume 3 might be able to do it! We’ll see next week!
