  1. Thank you for posting up the raws! I’m a big fan of the H&L series and I suppose the chibi spinoff manga might go over heads, but it sure is whimisical enough. This manga will probably not go over the plot, but the drama series and movie should clear it up. I like how the manga references real life events that happened to the actors, which shows what a bunch of fangirls clamp is made out of haha.

      • Yes there are several references in the manga and the short anime. The name of the combini that is in chp 2 is based off the real life retail chain the producing company manages, for example(it’s called 24karats shop).

        The producing company, LDH is pretty well known in Japan itself and this series is a platform that extends various mixed media, including international collabs. It’s great Clamp used their influence to latch on to something they love and be a part of it.
