Here is the drawing that will be used for the 3 QUO cards application services from Weekly Shonen Magazine, Magazine SPECIAL and Bessatsu Shonen Magazine:

Weekly Shonen Magazine‘s QUO card features Syaoran and Sakura, Magazine SPECIAL‘s QUO card has Kurogane and Fay, and Bessatsu Shonen Magazine‘s one has Watanuki and Doumeki. Also, Bessatsu Shonen Magazine comes with a frame to store all 3 cards.
Not to mention the new short-OAD that will be given as a present for those who could get all 3 QUO cards.
So it turns out that it really was a new illustration!

Well, I thought we had to collect all 3 magazines and then, there would some kind of mail-order system to get the QUO cards…but if it was really like that, why go through the trouble of specifying which card comes with which magazine…?
So it might be that the mail ordering thing is only to get the OAD, not the cards themselves which, then, should be included in the mags…?

And you will never find it ^^; Nor any other weekly magazine for that matter: amazon.jp only sells monthly mags (not even bi-monthly, STRICTLY monthly ones)
The magazine special issue #6[official website] is released May 20th, 2010.
The Bessatsu shonen magazine #7[official website] will be released June 9th,2010.
But again, I REALLY don’t know if the QUO cards are truly included in the mags or not, you might want to hear what chibiyuuto have to say about it first, if you only want to buy them for the QUO cards.

You have to buy the magazines, and then cut out and send away coupons that come with each magazine with a small fee (800yen each for the first two and 900yen for the other) to get the cards, they don’t come with the magazines. Shonen Magazine’s coupon is on page 263, I don’t have Magazine Special though but it should be close to the HoliTsuba. According to Shonen Magazine page 264, those who recieve all three cards (3shi to mo ouboshitekureta hito) will also get sent the OAD.

Sorry to ask again, but is there any official site that promotes these QUO cards? I bought the Weekly Shonen Magazine and theres nothing there that I could find. I need the URL as I’m trying to get Celga Japan to order it for me but they can only order online.

We might *hate* Clamp for many reasons, but their artworks is not one o them 😉
That said, it’s as frustrating as ever that this illustration can be obtained only if you reside in Japan ;__; I should be used to this kind of things already….

The lotus lanterns are pretty and kind of suit everyone in this image.. I wonder if Sakura/Syaoran are holding the lanterns as kind of a replacement for their clones (if they’re the reals that is)..
