CLAMP Internet Radio #37

Guest: Daisuke Namikawa (Fye’s seiyuu in Tsubasa) – PART I

The highly anticipated guest appearance of Daisuke Namikawa is finally here! The demand was so huge that his participation will be divided in two episodes! Part I we hear today and Part II will continue in the next episode.

The episode’s summary says that his participation has been planned since they started doing the radio show (I would assume it’s happening only now due to CLAMP and Namikawa’s busy schedules). This is also the first time a guest appears in 2 episodes, as Ohkawa herself says so by the end of the episode. Namikawa-san surely is popular xD

The bad thing about this episode is that I could barely understand a thing xD Well, usually I don’t understand a lot of things, this time I understood even less xD But I can say that Namikawa cleared the tongue-twister challenge not once, but twice! xD EDIT: My mistake, he failed the first time and cleared by the second time ^^;

Did Ohkawa say she liked Penguins, near the end of the episode? xD And then she confessed how weird that was? xDD I’m pretty sure it was something around these lines, but it would be nice to get a confirmation. Well, she IS holding a penguin, in her dress, in her SD drawing of CLAMP-PLA.NET xD

I’m sorry I couldn’t translate anything else, but I hope you all enjoy this episode, as I’m sure there must be a lot of people who have been waiting for it ^^ And please look forward to Part II!

    Ne ne, arigatou gozaimasu for the 37th episode of the CLAMP Internet Radio show. *bows* Yatta, Fai seiyuu is the guest on the show! SWEET!! ^o^ And sugoi desu wa that they are giving a two-part episode with him which is even better. *bliss* Namikawa clearing the tongue twisters… sore wa motto kakkoi da na! Hyuu-Hyuu!! XDD I’m sure that I’ll give it a go to listen for the rest of the episode and I’m sure that Fai fans and fangirls would certainly love it! Can’t wait for the second part that features him once again. YAY! /

  5. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~~~ two parts?? Ok, looking forward to part 2!!

    Nickname is “Nami-kko animal’s ‘Nami’ “!!

    He said various nicknames, not good at waking up but easy to get into sleep. Skill = good at saying sorry!! lol.

    CLAMP said his intro sounds like “omiai”!! and said that Namikawa-san made a legend doing the OAD(then Namikawa-san said that it’s CLAMP-san made the legend!).

    Namikawa-san said some event about cannot be able to read the air.

    His b-day is April 2nd. Blood type is B. He asked about CLAMP’s blood type and there were no Bs and discussed some problem with being a B. He’s from Shinjuku. He’s moved around Kantou (Tokyo area).

    Namikawa-san always thinks about other people.

    He likes beer, which he thought it’s different from others.

    He was recommended by a person who was involved in Chibi Maruko-san and was involved in the work of seiyuu. “Jouanto Punch” Season 2 was his first work, I heard.

    Since he was young, he cares about the height of the pillow (ex. he likes higher location). He also likes to be in the corner!!

    He didn’t pass the tongue-twister first time, but he did second time. He didn’t like to lose.

    I think I understand why you don’t understand this ep. because it seems that Namikawa-san didn’t understand some of CLAMP’s questions that he answered somewhat wrong (and crazy!!), and wasted some time (so extended to part 2). He also mentioned that once he started to talk, he doesn’t know where his opinions lead to. He said that he even doesn’t like to regret.

    Namikawa-san couldn’t choose any animals, so CLAMP chose rabbit for him.

    He think that being a personality (radio host) is hard because it over-shows his personality.

      LOL!!! I’m telling you, it was like I wasn’t listening to japanese AT ALL XD I couldn’t understand a thing XD

      LOL! I actually think it overshows your personality when you’re being interviewed, and not when you’re the host, but maybe that’s just me.

      By the way, could you tell me more about that moment when Ohkawa mentioned the Penguin? Was she saying she liked them? XD

      • lol, no prob.! I’m glad that you understood my English explanation!!

        About the part with Penguin, CLAMP was asking Namikawa-san to describe himself as an animal, but he didn’t know what animal to answer, so he asked the same question to CLAMP. As a result, Ohkawa-san described herself as Penguin (because she has a weird way of standing).
        P.S. Later Namikawa-san chose between being a rabbit or a deer. (one of CLAMP members also mentioned that Namikawa-san wanted to be described as a cute animal, so he should answer deer).

        About overshowing in net radio, I think he’s mentioning about a person being a radio host overshows his/her personality, so he thinks that being a personality is hard. He still couldn’t do it and admire hosts (mostly young female hosts).

  12. YAY! AT LAST! Thanks for putting the name in bold like I asked, you’re adorable! ^o^

    I really like Inada Tetsu best. Especially since he laughs so much, but I was really looking forward to Fai’s seiyuu’s appearance. And 2 of them nontheless!

    Question; I don’t have all of the clampradio, barely 7 of them now. Are the others still available for download?
