CLAMP confirmed today the news about Kobato running in the Newtype (starting in the November issue, out on October 10th). It’ll be resumed from tank 2 and on, which means the next chapter to be published will be chapter 8 (though they call it “first chapter of the new Series”). No words about the release of a tankohon yet.
What is weird is the way they say it. They say that the first volume was published in Sunday GX, and that the “new series” will be published in Newtype, as if each “series” is set to be published in a new magazine? I hope not. I hope it stays in Newtype for once and for all.

The anime is scheduled for October, as previously stated, but there’s still no info of the broadcasting. However, it’s told to replace BLOOD+’s spot so it’s probably going to be aired in TBS, BS-i and all the other channels who are currently airing the anime.
Personal Note: CLAMP must have this thing with the word “Temporary” XDDD (see more bellow).
Also, in the same announcement, you can see that there are lots of CLAMP + Newtype things scheduled for the next few months.
1. They’ll draw the entire cover for the August issue (out on July 10th), the illustration will be of Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC. Hopefully there will be CLAMP-related content in the same issue.
2. They’ll draw an illustration, as a reader present, for an special issue of Newtype called “Newtype Romance”. They don’t say what kind of illustration, but I’m assuming it must be some original image since they don’t mention which series.
3. Two extra/special editions of Newtype magazine entitled “CLAMP Newtype” are scheduled for the second half of this year. Details:
CLAMP Newtype (Black) (Temporary Title).
Release scheduled for August.
CLAMP Newtype (Green) (Temporary Title).
Release scheduled for Autumn.
There’s no information yet about the contents of these special magazines but, hell I’m curious o.o What, a WHOLE magazine dedicated for CLAMP? Sounds good ! (I hope they won’t be anything like CLAMP No Kiseki, though)
And what’s with the black and green thing? There will be more issues?

Now answer me, CLAMP IS or IS IT NOT rocking this year? O.O Those chicks are unstoppable !

Indeed they are rocking this year, SO many things happening lately.
About the magazine, though, I’m not that sure anymore if it’s going to be sold as separated magazine. I think they’ll be supplements that will come with the “normal” Newtype magazine. Extra appendixes. The first one is already out, btw, and it’s called CLAMP Newtype White ^^”

I’m amazed at how much they’ve been doing recently. It’s like now that they’ve really got the ball rolling for Tsubasa and xxxHolic, they figure why not throw in another huge project or two, along with LIVE APPEARANCES!!! You know, to make us fans go even more nuts. 🙂

i’ve seen CLAMP2 RED and GOLD CDs before… but i’m not sure whether that’s a “fake” or it real thing .___.

those cd’s are just cd’s with songs from the various CLAMP anime….but they’re bootleg ^_^;;; (well, they’re not official CLAMP releases anyway…there isn’t a “legal” version available in Japan. They’re made in Hong Kong)

the CDs are more likely to be made in Taiwan tho, since Hong Kong is being severely butchered about illegal downloads and privacy goods.

yeah, that’s possible. I don’t really know about the piracy issue over there…other than it’s there ^_^; lol
But the cd’s are pretty old. I think they’re from the late 90’s…..but I could be wrong.

well, it should be the highest possibility, since nearly all the pirate stores are being crushed/out of business because of the internet piracy XDDD

CLAMP Newtype magazines I don’t know but for me sounds like something similar to CLAMP no Kiseki ones.
BTW Kobato is back, after a superstition of cancellation and a rumor. I hope CLAMP surprise us with X like that XD
And CLAMP is getting better with time!. I always hope the best ^_^
