Nice splash page with Fuuma.
Sakura goes deeper underwater and finds this cocoon-ish thing (very similar to the trap-thing Hinoto was in, created by Dark Hinoto in X 19). The thing talks and the speech bubble was also used by Kotori’s mother in the See of Tears… hummm, but here it’s probably Kotori instead of Saya.
Sakura gets swallowed by the thing? O.O She can’t breath anymore? Yeah, right, as if she’s gonna die…….
Grossy worms, mutated by the acid rain (and this is their food supply !)Syaoran gets to show how cool he is with his sword and by doing so, gaining ALMOST the whole gang’s trust. Almost because Nataku still has this thing for Syaoran, wth?
Lastly, OMG Mokona senses the feather. My bet is on the cocoon-ish thing, after it swallowed Sakura, it got stronger XD Yeah, wake me up now.

Creepy chapter…
There’s the spirit of a woman on that tree (of course, Sakura trees just aren’t normal on CLAMP world XD)
Watanuki is all gentleman holding his umbrella to the little girl ^-^
The fact that they showed Doumeki’s temple all randomly makes me think if that woman is not the spirit of Doumeki’s mother? Or Grandmother… or some other Doumeki relative? We saw the spirits of o/other women living on trees before on Wish, so it could be the case here too O.o
In the end, it seems like the girl said to Watanuki that they shall meet again on May 7th O.O That’s a day before the next chapter is out… creepy
*really wants to read both chapters to understand better*

Then again, I’ve never read Dune, so my only contact with giant desert worms was thanks to Mr. Burton.
Except for that thing in the middle of Tatooine in Star Wars episode VI, but that didn’t look like a worm.

Actually, Dune was originally a book by Frank Herbert. It was then made into a movie in the 80’s and then into a miniseries in the late 90’s. ^_^ It’s a cult classic.

Interesting…Syaoran’s gonna freak if he sees Sakura like this. Syaoran was awesome with the sword. It says a lot about how much it really helps him. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!! WORM THINGS!! lol. I want Kamui to get back in the story though. I just thought of an awesome fight!! Imagine..

You know, I’m not 100% sure, but I think that on the last page of HOLiC, that little girl said her name. She said “Kohane,” and then she said May 7th. Anyone else more skilled with Japanese who can confirm that for me?
If she really did give out her name, does that mean she’s going to become an important player? The only non-main character, excluding crossover charaters, to ever have a name is the cat spirit who gave Watanuki the ghost lantern, Akari.

Yes, I think her name is Kohane too… quite similar to “Kogane”, CLAMP’s other cat, and she does resemble the cat xD maybe it’s a reference?
I do think that girl is very important to the story… specially because Yuuko said that Watanuki already created a “nod” with her.

It’s Kotori down in that water I’m sure of that and yet when I first saw that flash of bubble I thought it was cloth and got all excited at the posibility of it being Subaru…am hopeless!
Random worms were cool but again squishing disapointment as this trip was most likely a chance for Clamp to show off how amazing Shaoran is!
XXXholic though…random long haired woman prancing around a cherry tree…either it is Setsuka (How amazing would that be?) or she is a random relation to Doumeki…am offically glued to my seat until the next chapter!

Then do you reckon she’s just saying her name is written with those kanji, instead of telling him they’ll meet on that date? Or maybe that’s her birthday? Or both?
*can’t speak a word of Japanese, but thought about it when checking scans, after she recognized familiar kanji; and finds the possibility so interesting*

I don’t think it’s her name because the furigana are different than Kohane Tsuyuri… it could be her birthday, though O.o

Awesome… the similarities between her and Watanuki o.o Both having dates in their names, and the ability to see spirits… What could this mean?? Maybe the girl will be an important character to the series.

I just figured out something! In the second season’s ending theme song, they show Fai as a little kid. In the backround, his country doesn’t look frozen or cold at all. And also…the clothes Fai wore looked princely. Remember when Chi said “Did you sleep…my king?”. She wasn’t joking. FAI’S A FREAKIN’ KING!!!
