We can relax now, our prays have been heard ! CLAMP-NET confirmed today that the company responsible for the animation of XXXHOLiC TV Series will be indeed Production IG !
This is way too much good ! Although, I do hope they get some new chara designer.

Did you know Production IG is the mother of Bee Train, a daughter company? Or what is the same: the mother signs the papers for de child. Remember when they said Tsubasa as going to be made by IG? 😉
Production IG is one of the best companies, and it’s working since a lot years ago (yes! Production IG is more than Stand Alone Complex and Jin Roh!), and Bee Train has some good ones too (never mind Avenger not Meine Leibe). I hope XXXholic will be as great as the movie looks.

I’ll be. There’s a big difference between Stand Alone and Tsubasa in terms of quality.
Of course, usually the longer the anime, the less is spent per episode.

Or the longer it gets ^^U See Naruto filler episodes for an example… They have to save movie for when they decide to continue animating the manga, and the quality is horrible.
It’s something I understand, though.

I don’t remember they saying that Tsubasa was going to be P IG’s… for me it was always BeeTrain… even in the rumors, before the official announcement…

Never heard of Prodution IG for Tsubasa anime either, people notice both compagny are linked, and some had high expectation due to it, but we always knew it would be BeeTrain. They say Production IG for Holic, so it will be Production IG as the main compagny to produce Holic, so I’m adsolutely grateful. ^_^
