This was a good chapter… starting by the (great) splash page where we got the exact same scene as the one told by Touya, nice.
This chapter also puts one more important reason for Kurogane’s love towards Ginryu, of course, it was blessed by his own mother, that is so nice >..<
It's harsh so it means I love it !
Again, that scene is very like X.
But the question here is: Why? Why would Fei Wang do this? To her, who (until now) has nothing to do with the whole thing… and what would have changed if he didn't kill her?
Also, doesn't he want the power to cross dimensions? What exact is he doing in Nihon if not "crossing dimensions" o.o"?
Now, assuming that it really was Fei Wan (all the hints are pointing to that… but you know CLAMP), then Syaoran can sleep well and let Kurogane do all the dirty work because he'll be very pissed to find out it was him who murdered his mother…

Bu… But why!
And now that we think about it, except for the arm and the sleeve, we can’t be 100% sure that’s Teh Fei Wang. Yeah, the arm is huge, but it could’ve been a random minion. He doesn’t hit me like the guy who does the dirty job himself. That’s what I find odd about the scene, personally.
With that said… ;_______;
And one question, have the parents’ names have been said in this chapter? *is curious and reads no Japanese*

Yeah, I know ! We can’t tell it yet… this is the same with CLAMP and Kanoe’s murderer… just because there’s a big hand there doesn’t mean is Fei Wang himself, and I do think he doesn’t do the dirty work either… but maybe he wanted to do *this* particular work by his own hands (maybe is someone important, kuro-mama?)

I did already and you know what? CLAMP is always hiding his hands if possible (just like Kurogane’s scar) and when we GET to see it, the angle that it was draw is not the angle where the tatoo is located .__.

Yeah, just noticed that O.o I went from volume 1 to 7 (as they’re the ones I have in book ^^u). And when they do show the whole hand, it’s the left one and not the right one (guess which one the killer used…)

But they haven’t met yet, have they? Kurogane and Fei Wang… Kurogane doesn’t even know they are being watched by the same person who killed (directly or indirectly) his mother.

Oh my god! I totally didn’t even notice it, but it does look like a tattoo. Of the ruins in Clow Country that Syaoran was originally investigating. The plot thickens.
And maybe Kurogane will be doing the dirty work at the end, battling him while Syaoran and Sakura do their nuclear accelerator scene from the beginning. ^_^’
And you’re right that it is very much like X throughout the chapter. So pretty. ^_^

I know!!! It’s confusing… even if that isn’t Fei Wang himself and it’s one of his minions or something. I mean, we know from Piffle world that Kyle can cross dimensions too. What else do they want, then?

The chapter cover is no comment. I can’t say anything but super WONDERFUL! It’s better than imaging this scene when Touya told at first.
After reading that chapter, I’m so confused with a lot of question.
We can’t be sure if the one kill Kuro’s mother ‘s is Fei Wang or not. But I’m sure that person is in his world >

What if Fye’s background story has also to do with Feu Wang? We never know… maybe Fei Wang wanted somehow the 3 of them travelling together…
I want to believe he’s not EBIL… there must be some intention behind his act besides the “gimme-gimme the power to cross dimensions”.
That hand is too big for big for being Seishirou’s… and he doesn’t work for Fei Wang, which is clear that is his work (by the symbol at the sword)
So unless he has another big employee with the same size as he, I bet it was himself who killed Kuro-mama… she’s a powerful miko, I think he wanted to do it by his own hands.
The crossing dimensions thing also bugs me… what does he want? To Cross or the CHANGE dimension (like you said)? Because they are completely different things and INDEED Kyle changed dimensions on Piffle like he did that everytime… also Fei Wang’s soldiers on Clow, what they were doing if not crossing dimensions?
So maybe cross dimensions is not his objetive at all…
As for his tattoo, maybe is the “hair” you talked about… I can’t explain where it is… it’s in the upper part of his hand, near the sleeve, and it’s very tiny….

Kuro mama is just so pwetty ;_; and that tragic death.. and WOW! the freaky arm coming out of the mirror (alice across the mirror anyone? ^^U) it could be Fai Wang, but I thought of Seishirou as well, though neither of them would likely kill Kuro’s mama for no apparent reason… sooooo O.O now I’m theorizing!
