Remember when I told you about Yahoo’s CLAMP Special site? And that they would be doing an auction with CLAMP’s signed pics? Well, it started already !
There are 2 pics, one for Tsubasa and one for XXXHOLiC.
Now, the part that made me GAP !
Tsubasa’s one is costing (so far, is an auction, there are more 5 days left)… anyway, it’s costing nothing but 662.000 yens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is 662 THOUSAND yens !!!!!! Which is like… around
US$ 6.000
O.O … OMG—-! This is so crazy XDDDDD And the auction began yesterday ! This value will increase much more !
XXXHOLiC’s one is at the moment 171.000 yens, which is around US$ 1.500
Just remembering that the auction’s money will be given to charity ^___^

As an annoying correction-bit, in writing numbers in English the comma takes place of the period (so $6,000 instead of $6.000, and $.65 for sixty-five cents). I make the opposite mistake whenever I write in Portuguese. XD;

that’s soba. You cook it, then rn it down a bamboo pipe with water running in it. You have to catch the noodles before they run off the end of the pipe into the tub that catches the water. Usually you have a cup with dipping sauce.

Oh there’s lots of Japanese blogs who have Holic summaries on the very same day Young Magazine is published (i.e. Monday).
Most of them are fangirlish rants but there’s also a site that has ‘decent’ summaries (though I don’t mind the fangirlish rants…XD). Here you go :

Hi, I just found you, though I found your Kobato shrine through Clamp no Lumière quite some time ago. I was trying to find both sites a week or two ago, and both were dead. 0.o? But now they’re back. Strange.

Sure, it’s a novel Ohkawa began to wrote back in 1996, we still only got the first part, though it sounds interesting. There’s four pictures drawn by Mokona.

BEm, sobre Ashura, no anime (pelomenos na traduçao em potugues) eles tratam Ashura como “ela”, “menina” e nao “ele”, “menino”…pode ser que esteja errado, mas tambem (pelo menos eu) considero certo, porque,
“… tão meiga e gentil como uma menina, tão cruel e sanguinario, como um menino…”
mais ou menos assim.

Yesh, I really should thank you too ^^ You made it possible for me to not kill myself over waiting for the full quarter of a year for vol 7 and another quarter for vol 8. And even then, it’s the chinese version of it, so trying to write fanfic with that is murder. That and the colouring of the characters’ eyes is a little . . . hard to see.
