This arc is so interesting (Creepy portrait >.<) ! I love the chapters with Yuuko ^_^ But Watanuki's visions also intrigues me… what does he see? Is that the past? The future? Someone else's memory/vision? I don't really know.
What Himawari said also intrigues me… the more close Watanuki is to Doumeki, the more distance he gets from Himawari? Hummm…
Yey! The last page of Chapter 78 we can see on Top Runner's video… chapter 80 should have the other ones (the ones with Mokona's drawing and Satsuki inking)

i think it’s pernament but from recent scans, Doumeki seems to be researching his grandfather’s books to find a way to get Watanuki’s eye back ^_^
i dunno if i want his eye to return to normal tho *__*

But I don’t want Watanuki to join the CLAMP Cyclops Club ™ *snif* If I wanted to drool over a bish missing his eye, I’d read X or TRC. CLAMP are getting over the top with their fetish.

woah, all clamp characters are always missing their RIGHT eye… strange it’s always teh right…..
hum, i don’t know about the visions he sees w/ that eye, but..i’m thinking it’s what the spider sees…? since it was from such a low height on teh grass…..
but it was cool when they showed him w/out the eye patch… hehe

It’s more a cultural thing, Japanese characters lost their right eye and Western characters lost the left one. I suppose it have to do with which side you began to read. It doesn’t work that way all the time, but there is definitely a trend.

Two of them are from above a house, it seems to be the same but I’m not yet sure. If it’s from the past, it’s not that far off, as the building are no older than the 70s. Ther are electric lines, the cars looks like our time’s cars, the bridge look like a recent concrete bridge, so I’d say it could be from when Watanuki was young, but not much older. I hope will see more in chapters 79 and 80.
However, it’s strange Watanuki’s vision’s point of view is from above, I wonder what/who could have seen this …
