There will be another talk show, this time with CCS movie, on CLAMP四（Su) event. The talk show will take place on March 27th and it’s not a CLAMP talk show, I believe it’s a talk with the producers of the movie.
XXXHOLiC vol. 6 won’t be released on next April, that’s why I believe it’ll be out on May as well as Tsubasa vol 10.
On the other hand, an Official Guide Book of Tsubasa TV Anime will be released on April 15th! The Name of the guide book, which suits very well, will be “公式ガイドブック ツバサCARACTere GuiDE”. Very fancy, huh?

WORD! And I feel that xxxholic is the one who suffers the most with that. Because xxxholic doesn’t flow in the same level as tsubasa (I’m talking number of pages per week, here) We had vol. 5 in November and the next one only on May? That’s 6 months!
I know CLAMP had that 2-month break, but…

I don’t know if it can makes more selling for xxxholic why not ?
There’s only two ways for a manga to gain readers, popular magazine and animation.
So what about the usual clamp fan who could take an interest in the manga but not in the magazine ?
xxxholic is such an outstanding story in the magazine. I understand people who like holic but can’t stand young mag.
So if the only way to make more people read holic is to have a combine release date, there’s nothing wrong with it.
Despite xxxholic and TRC are two complete different story, even clamp always associate them together on the album post

That’s the good side of it! People who reads only xxxholic can “Hey, I have a couple of yens in my pocket, why not?” And bring also tsubasa home, same with tsubasa readers…
XXXHOLiC doesn’t fit Young Magazine at all (besides the fact is a more mature story)…

I don’t blame you, but still, just after the anime release they make a guide? They should wait a bit, or they’ll be spoiling people up ^^UUUUU
About HOLiC. Not only that, it’s that kind of stuff that makes the series lose more readers, since it makes people think the two series are about the same thing. Because the ones who hate TRC won’t buy HOLiC because “it’s the same crossover crap”, while some of the ones who love TRC won’t buy HOLiC because they expected it to be a cutesy story as well and get disappointed when it’s totally not. And won’t buy it again after the fiasco.
It’s all the marketing’s fault. And selling every (or almost every) HOLiC volume with a TRC volume roots the idea on fandom more.
I’m one of the few people that thinks higher of XXXHOLiC than of TRC. Obviously. And these things together hurt me a lot, as a rabid fangirl.

I have a friend who lives in japan who buys XXXHOLiC and Tsubasa on the release date… and well, he DOES like xxxholic more, but even so he still buys Tsubasa (he likes it, but not as much as xxxholic).

I’m saying “some” of the people. I mean, I buy TRC as well, but there’s a huge gap between my love for HOLiC and my slight like for TRC.
But I do know of biased, resentful X fans that won’t give HOLiC a chance because of Tsubasa. It might sound an overreaction, but it’s part of reality.

Don’t they write TRC chapters insanely fast ? And still with ten volumes, I only get the impression it’s the beginning of the story. He have hints of major arc with seishirou, another one with reed and little “little wolf”, another one with kurogane (the whole deal with demon/curse which we still had to see how it’s gonna work/tomoyo) , and still another with Fye (I need to know about ashura like right now !!!).
There’s also the trillion of worlds they hinted with their door pictures.
I think TRC will beat X number of tank easily.

We almost don’t have a single clue of Fye’s background (and we are in vol 10!)…. omg….

kidding right ? if it’s literal wings it could be a hundred, a thousand weathers! (I don’t know if you read inuyasha but kagome broke a sacred pearl in tinny pieces, it’s 40 volumes and still going on and takahashi sensei does small chapters)

Well clamp is known for their slow pace at the beginning of each of their story… but in 10 tanks, Sakura did have time to capture twice all her cards ^_^
I don’t even get the impression TRC is slow.
by the way I have a short story Ohkawa wrote in an official DJ for Tokyo babylon but it’s only kanji without furigana could you friend translate it ?(wouldn’t it be a great project to do ? ^_^)

Sure it would !! My friend –finally– got his PC back, so, it’ll be much easier for him to translate it!
I did a lot of favors for him when he was without it (like, checking his e-mails and stuff like that) so now I’ll be “Hehe, my turn now *pokes*” XDDDD

Really? How great! Hey, you know, I met this really cool guy in my college, and he’s a CLAMP fan! Better, he bring to the college his TB Artbook!
And OMG, call me a dumb but I never get to see it with my own eyes (In fact, any artbook, it was my very 1st one !)
It’s sooo gorgeous! One thing is to see it by your PC but another completely different is to see it live with your own eyes, and touch it ! *o* So beautiful…

The TB artbook with the silver cover is one one my favorite artbook (hehe I see your birthday is very soon ^_^… any preference for an artbook ? I’m not kidding)

I feel the same when you look at it in the artbook and when you look at the real object (like the difference between the picture in the book and the real laser disk or the real CD)

and I just remember I have an official rg veda dj, who published with the ld and later with the smaller edition of rgveda I don't think it has been translated in french or english… so it would be nice too for the future to scan it.

yeah that’s right. Not everything is beautiful inside but some of them just make me gap each time I look at them… so pretty.

I don’t think they are going to wait holic or trc end to draw the end of X. Because if they do that they won’t be able to say to TRC and holic fans (it’s a crowd which is no doubt growing fast) “he ! look shinny end of the world story !”
I don’t think we will learn shocking revelation in X clamp no kiseki, but I hope since it’s published by kodansha that the interview will say if it’s a clamp descision or a problem with kadokawa.

Don’t scare me, please. Inuyasha is the only fandom I dropped completely. It was because of the fans and how slow the story was.
…bah, I don’t think that will happen with TRC. As long as we still got Fye and Kurogane, random Yuuko appearances, Seishirou and the possibility of seeing Hokuto and Subaru (actually, I think the shadowy figure in the last chapter is him)… I’ll keep reading it.

About the interview thing… There was an interview with the director of the CCS movie on a brazilian magazine some long time ago… I think I have the magazine in one of my boxes… (bought it on those R$ 1.00 promotional magazines XD). So, if you want it I could ask my friend to type it up and send it to you. I don’t think it’s very big, but my mom won’t let me go on the computer so often anymore… Vestibular is coming up ^^;;;;;

I dont think TRC is going slow at all, the story has many themes, and each are as important as eachother, kuroganes curse, Fyes mysterious background, the Reed guy with his clone of syaroan, the realtionship between Sakura and Syaoraon etc etc. it would sort of be fustrating if everything just came out in an instant, and it would be hard to keep up, and its fun thinking of theories that might happen with whatever situation is going on. I geuss i am the one to like all the little jokes fye does to kurogane a *little* but more then the acual plot ^-^, and we need more s+s MOMENTS!

Tsubasa CARACTere Guide is not there yet, but they sold all the de luxe volumes of Chobits, the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Clamp Calendars, and even the Clamp no Kiseki (though they are not to be sale outside of Japan). So I’m sure they will sell the GuiDE book by April 15th.
You can resgister and order in English, but you’ll have to find your stuff in Japanese:

I forgot to tell you how much it will cost, it will be ¥700 for the book (the same price as on the Clamp site, you pay no taxes because you’re not in Japan), ¥300 per item for handeling and ¥1200 for shipping in USA (¥2200 in all, US$19, but there could be costums fees too).
