Tsubasa news!


The Animedia magazine scans of Tsubasa Anime are now available!

Kurogane, as always, looks very good!

Sakura is not as cute as in the official site’s pic, but still ok!

As for Reed, I was just surprised by the color of his clothes, I didn’t know they were brown-ish. But perfect chara design!

Syaoran looks very weird, IMO, on the bigger pic… His eyes are strangely big and also his ears XP The little pic of his beside him is much better and cute.

Now, Fye-san… what’s with that face of yours? He’s with such a dumb face -__- didn’t like it at all… We can see that his hair is indeed blond! I also didn’t know his vests (see tiny pic on the bottom) were that blue o.O

Yuuko is simply perfect *o* She looks like to be made by Mokona’s own hand! Her outfit is amazing~~!

If it helps, Animedia’s pics are not always that great… and sometimes they are completely different from the anime itself. So, that doesn’t mean they will look exactly the same on the anime!

Now some tidbits about the anime:

– The director said that the anime will have a lot of action and fashion (maybe for the changing clothes for each country thing).
– Mokona will actually SAY “Mekyou” when finding a feather.
– CLAMP’s charas from others works will surely appear (We can sleep now XD)
– They will add some original “things” to Sakura’s story (not so sure of what are these “things”)

The official opening date for the anime is April 9th. The show will air at 18:30 (CCS airtime).

TRC Chapter 68 Spoilers:

The scans are not out yet, but we already have some information about it:

– The Shurano!Kurogane and Shurano!Fye are actually “our” Kurogane and Fye. When the Moon castle was destroyed, their black eyes fade away;
– The feather turns back to Sakura;
– Just before going to another country, they have a talk with some subordinates of Yasha and they say that in case they find the body of Ashura-ou and Yasha-ou, they’ll bury them together in the same place where Syaoran and Sakura landed at;
– Suzuran and the Priest (remember them? From the previous country) are going to marry! And after the ceremony it was build an Ashura and Yasha’s statue, possible next to each other ^^ Also, Syaoran’s and Sakura’s hair ornaments will be placed right before those statues. (this is so beautiful!)

    Now I remember why I’m looking forward to TRC! Not Fye (ugh, he looks like a bad-drawn Yukito), not Kuro (the picture doesn’t convince me), not Mokona (its “mekyou” eyes are creepier), not S+S (YUCK! God forbids!). It’s the XXXHOLiC crossover! I want to see Yuuko animated, speaking! I hope her seiyuu would be fantastic, or I’ll kill Bee Train. And I have to see if Watanuki gets to say at least the one or two lines he had on TRC.

    I wonder if the TRC seiyuus for them and the HOLiC movie seiyuus will be the same ones… hmmm…

    I didn’t picture Reed’s hair so dark. His clothes do look like I thought they would be.

  2. I knew it…^_^” this pic will only do damage…but well..I didn’t like at all Sakura,in this pic..and I agree with you Yuuto-chan,Syaoran’s ears are too big!XD yeah,I don’t know what I’m laughing at since I should cry myself off,but well..=_=

    Well..Yuuko-san sure is great..I’m more interested in the fact that Fei Wan Reed here is just Fei Wan…cut the relation between him and Clow?
    Anyway,I’m still confident in Minako-san’s work,and in Bee Train…what more we should do?Just be confident..-_- ^__^ Ah,you’re always welcome Yuuto-chan,when I can give you help,I do it!^_^

      I’m HOPING, that they are not saying his entire name FOR NOW, to not ruin the story’s plot… or else there would be a lot of animedia readers saying “Hey, I know that name!”. See my point?

        There’s no point for another reason: Sakura could be not-so-beautiful in the character design,but Mashimo said in his comment that she is a girl that even if she doesn’t have memories anymore,she doesn’t lose time to cry on herself and always look straight,in front of her.That’s her,at least,and that’s what I really cared for!^_^

  3. Yuuko’s picture is good. She’s got the very best character design of the lot. Of course, if she didn’t, the Yuuko fans would likely riot. ^^

    Overall, the pics are alright. (Except for Syaoran’s ears, good grief they’re too big.) This anime is really something to look forward to. ^^

  6. Não achei uma das melhores mas dá pra se ter uma idéia… Gostei da Yuuko ^^ Não gostei tb dos olhos do Syaoran e o olhar triste da Sakura. Não sei porque mas ainda acho o Fye parecido com o Yukito no anime -__-‘ (adoro o Fye mas acho a img infeliz) Só quero ver o Yukito como vai ficar… A carinha de brava da Sakura me lembra a da Sakura Kinomoto… Tb tava pensando no trabalhão que vai dar, serão várias trocas de figurino o_o
    Vc sabe me dizer que edição da Animedia é essa?!
    Não escrevi coisa com coisa hj… ¬¬

  7. Not the world’s best illustration…

    I’m holding out judgement till I see the actual anime and some stills from it. It’ll be fun watching them pad out the story for what I’m guessing will be just a first season. As long as they pace themselves alright, they should be fine.

    I just hope they don’t keep Fai’s eyes closed all the time, like Yukito. Fai usually just has that half-lidded expression. Those little pics are goofy. Makona’s eyes scare me, but then, they always scare me.

      Yes, I think we shouldn’t judge yet, by these magazines scans….

      Magazines pics are always very weird, compared to the actual thing o.o

    To those who got scared, the characters usually look much better in the anime than in any anime magazine illustrations, or even on the official site. I’m not scared. I think this is fairly good.

    Yuuko is great. Fei Wan Reed was… I didn’t except his hair to be that colour, but I pictured his clothing to be something like this.

    Sakura’s outfit is a bit different than my cosplay! NOOOO! ;_; Not much, though…
