  1. From what Fabio said,he just made photos to the new things in Clamp no Kiseki, because the other pages are just illustrations more or less already known and you can surely find them in his site’s gallery..^__^ That’s what he said in his Italian forum..after all,I’m Italian too..:P

The magazines look as boring as I thought they would be. Interviews with CLAMP’s friends/bosses are always useless. Content is redundant. Illustrations are more of the same.

The only things that can count are the interviews. And they don’t even solve plotholes, they just rant about cute idiotic stuff, so they’re not worth the money. I swear I’m only paying for the chess pieces.

And because if I collect them all, I’ll have my Kero and Suppi *-*

(Ioryougi still scares the *crap* out of me O_o;;;)

Well, I kinda like them ^o^

And you’re right about everything else… I thought CLAMP No Kiseki would be THE magazine… but it’s not all that… the cover art is not wwhat we can call well-made, the content is really redundant (Who want to know a summary for each volume? Go buy them! XD) the images are all old.

The only good thing are the interviews… I really love them… they can be really idiot if you are talking about CCS. But how many CLOVER/GD (among others) interviews have you seen out there? So I’m really looking forward for them ^^

      • They’d better, in the X interview, tell us a GOOD reason of its hiatus… because I don’t want to read them saying Inuki is based on the neighbor’s dog or something like that instead *grumbles*

Do you know if in the Clover interview they gave a reason of their supposed hiatus? The work is pretty much done to me, I don’t know what do they want to add to it.

        • Clover hiatus was because Amie, the magazine where they used to release this series, bankrupted and had to close. So no more Clover.

About X, some people say they have had some kind of issues with Kodansha, theire editorial.

          • But still, I have heard the last one or two volumes never got to be published on the magazine. So if that’s the case, nobody’s stopping them to continue it.

I still think the story feels quite closed like it is.

            Like

            • Yeah, the reason is Amie’s close.

And from what I know, there’s any chapter “due to be released”… I mean, when Amie closed, all the chapters related to volume 4 of CLOVER had been already released.

On CLAMP No Kiseki 2 Ohkawa says that they DO plan to end the story one day. But that requires a lot of money and paper trouble… they first need to get back the rights of the series.

A better solution would be if Kodansha released a brand-new magazine that fits CLOVER’s profile (none of their actual magazines could host CLOVER).
But that’s quite hard to happen since they already noticed that that kind of magazine doesn’t sell quite well.
ASUKA would be CLOVER’s proper house.

I think it’s mainly because of Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC, that turned out to be really big projects… After all, it’s very hard to randle 2 weeklys series.
I remember seeing in an interview about Chobits with Ohkawa they were saying “This is the first CLAMP work to be published on a weekly magazine, how is it?” She said: “We are simply very busy”.

So I guess it’s even harder to handle a Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC. I think they wanted to focus more on Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC also because of their anime adaptation. So I think they want to do as many volumes as possible.

          >because I don’t want to read them saying Inuki is based on the neighbor’s dog or something like that instead *grumbles*
AHAHAHA this is SO like CLAMP XDDDDD

  3. I found the issue of Clamp Kiseki I got a bit disappointing, but the chess pieces certainly are cute.

It’s funny that there’s an interview in Kiseki #5 with the real Aoki, even if it doesn’t say anything interesting. ^^

      • Yup, that Yuuko sure is nice ^^! I like CLAMP (and other author’s) works in other mangaka’s hands if they are good… Is like a music cover of a good song performed with nice new arrangements by another band 😛

In fact, Okazaki is a closely-related mangaka for CLAMP. In the “thank you” section of his manga Elementalors he always mentions CLAMP (and a lot more people, like Bastard!! author Kazushi Hagiwara), since they helped him quite a lot with the series (there are parts where you can say “Hey, this style is just like CLAMP’s!”, “This way to put the grey patterns there too!”… Well, in fact it is ^^U), and as far as I’m concerned he has lent them a hand some times too, hence how nicely is that shonen-style Yuuko. So you can say he’s the “male CLAMP” or something xD

Plus, they say he was once Ohkawa’s boyfriend, but it isn’t confirmed 😛
