Today is the birthday of CLAMP member Tsubaki Nekoi! She’s turning 41 this year.

The other CLAMP members gave her birthday wishes as usual. Ohkawa thanked her for having born (I thought that was precious) and Satsuki and Mokona said they should all drink to celebrate once they’re finished working today =)
This is something that I forgot to post, but here is an illustration that Tsubaki Nekoi posted in her private board on the first day of 2010 to celebrate the new year:
Every year they draw something with the animal that represents the current year. This year is the tiger year, so that’s why 😉
The picture was followed by CLAMP’s messages welcoming the new year, funny bit that Satsuki mentioned that it’s 2010 but there aren’t flying cars as written in the old novels xD Mokona mentioned that the tiger reminds the one from that CCS anime episode where Naoko writes in “The Create” book, because of the eyes xD
As reported previously, this month’s issue of Kodansha’s IN★POCKET magazine is out today in Japan and it carries a talk about mystery between Yoshiki Tanaka (Soryuuden’s author) and CLAMP (Nanase Ohkawa and Tsubaki Nekoi).
The magazine’s official website has a preview of the talk. Translations are, of course, welcomed =)
The talk is about their first contact with mystery and their favorite detective characters. It seems that Ohkawa read an adult’s book when she still a kid for the first time xD
In addition, the article carries a new “detective” illustration drawn by CLAMP.
To those who were wondering, Tsubaki Nekoi was the one who got sick recently, which was sort of expected seeing how only XXXHOLiC’s schedule was affected by it.

Sakura-Con is an annual convention of anime and manga that is currently being held in Seattle, USA. In their panels, Dark Horse and TokyoPop revealed some foreshadowing (or not) news about the possibility of a Mangettes movie adaptation and Gouhou Drug’s return, respectively.
Today (yesterday in Japan) is the birthday of CLAMP member Tsubaki Nekoi, she’s turning 39 today, congratulations Nekoi-sensei! ^__^
Congratulations for being such a talented artist, may you keep improving your talent through the next many years and emotionally moving your readers with your beautiful drawings.

On this first post in the first day of 2008 (5 minutes before midnight in Brazil, still Jan 1st xD), I bring you the latest CLAMP posts straight from their Private Boards. They are mostly greeting messages and resolutions for 2008. There are some drawings, too, of course!
