In an unexpected move, Kadowaka repeated its turn and the 9th title of the CLAMP PREMIUM COLLECTION series will be Kobato.! Following the original 6 volumes run, the first volume is scheduled for the Japanese Spring 2027.
The scheduled is expected to run from Spring to Summer, so we can expect a somewhat similar schedule to ANGELIC LAYER, which also had its first volume released in the Japanese Spring of this year.
Kobato. is usually associated with pink, but it has other colors as well… I have no idea what the cover designs will look like!
Although unexpected, this makes sense considering that Kadokawa has more titles than Kodansha. But this breaks the “rule” a little bit, so much that we are not so sure anymore which title will come next.

Although Kadokawa has still a lot of titles, many of them are either short or single volumes. It will be interesting to see if all of them will be indeed re-released in CPC format.
I somehow still think they will leave Tsubasa for last, or something like that.
