Finally, we have some answers…

We learn that Yatagarasu was inside the shop all along and Doumeki, Mokona and Ame Warashi were outside in the shop’s front yard during the transaction with the Fuuri, but they were disguised/hidden from the Fuuri thanks to the Yatagarasu.

We also learn that what Watanuki gave to the Fuuri was not Zashiki Warashi herself, but the cage that she was in prior to coming to the shop with the “Shuuka” stored inside. Again, the Fuuri did not notice the ‘trick’ thanks to the Yatagarasu, who altered the Fuuri’s perception. Apparently this was the price that the Yatagarasu paid to Watanuki. So, either this outcome is something that the Yatagarasu wanted (ie: for the Fuuri to obtain the “Shuuka”) or there is another wish that it/she asked Watanuki to grant and this was the price. I think it’s the former.

Still, the Yatagarasu says that what was inside the cage was indeed the “Shuuka”. And now, because the deal is closed, the Fuuri will not be able to take it back, ask for exchange or refunds xD Watanuki also mentions that the shop is “closed” for the Fuuri from now on. I am guessing here that on the last chapter the way Watanuki spoke could go both ways: that the ‘deal’ and the ‘shop’ had been closed.

Watanuki then says that it’s time for the next step and they all go inside the shop. The next scenes are flashback sequences…

We are back a few moments before the Fuuri’s arrival with Watanuki talking to Zashiki Warashi under the rain in the shop’s front yard. We learn that Watanuki’s wish to Masaki was to have the ability of controlling souls — this is how he plans to save Zashiki Warashi. Ame Warashi and Zashiki Warashi both gag upon hearing this and they both can’t imagine how high could it be the price to be able to do that. Watanuki tells them that the price has been paid already, as we already know, but he does not reveal what was the price (that is still pending to be revealed).

The chapter ends before the flashback ends.

So, given that this last scene happened in the past, I would assume that Watanuki did manage to somehow split Zashiki Warashi’s ‘body’ (does an entity like Zashiki Warashi even have a ‘body’?) and the “Shuuka”, put the “Shuuka” in the cage and gave it to the Fuuri. We don’t know what is the current condition of Zashiki Warashi, and Watanuki is bringing the sleeping/fainted body of the Zashiki Warashi-lookalike inside the shop.

In the end, it looks like everything will be ‘fine’ with both Zashiki Warashi and the Zashiki Warashi-lookalike, but something tells me there will be some consequences or side effects. Maybe Zashiki Warashi’s form will look different after this, and I hope we will find out more about the Zashiki Warashi-lookalike, starting with her name???? It’s really hard referring to her as ‘Zashiki Warashi-lookalike’. I don’t think she will be the “vessel” to store Zashiki Warashi’s soul since the girl has a soul of her own…. right? Not to mention it would be too convenient to have this lookalike appearing when Watanuki needed. Maybe they are more related than we know…

What still remains to be seen:

-The amber stone
-The crimson pearl — Ame Warashi wanted Watanuki to give it to her so she could save Zashiki Warashi (from turning into a “Shuuka”), maybe Watanuki will use it?
-Did Doumeki use his ring? Was that scene also omitted?

-Watanuki’s price for his soul-controlling magic.
