Visiting the CLAMP Exhibition in Tokyo to celebrate 35 years of the legendary manga collective

I really wanted to write a report about my personal experience visiting the CLAMP Exhibition in Tokyo last July. I know that pictures are worth more than a thousand words, but I really wanted to capture in words what it was like to experience that, or at least try to.

I have always been a huge admirer of Anime Feminist and the important work they do. When I learned that they were accepting submissions, it seemed to me like the perfect way to match my desire to write a detailed report about the exhibition while at the same time contributing to this important website. For me it’s an honor to have an article of mine on Anime Feminist.

The Anime Feminist editorial team was extremely kind, professional, supportive and very welcoming to my ideas. It was a real joy working with them and I appreciate all the improvements that they have done between the first draft until the final version. I would love to write more articles for them in the future!

For the readers of my website, you may find in the below links all the pictures that I took on all five visits that I made. The pictures are in the order that they were taken on that particular day. I took pictures from every single manuscript that was allowed to, for that reason my phone battery would sometimes die out so the next day I would resume it from where I left the previous day.

Day 1 – July 6, 2024
Day 2 – July 8, 2024
Day 3 – July 19, 2024
Day 4 – July 21, 2024
Day 5 – July 25, 2024
