As expected, the color spread (another spread!) shows Syaoran and Sakura in their final showdown outfits. I wasn’t expecting them to be black and white, but they look nice. I confess I am a bit underwhelmed with this spread. I think the concept and overall composition of the latest color pages have become a bit repetitive.

There was some questioning as of why Sakura was with the Dream Wand and CLAMP made sure to address that from the very beginning of the chapter: Sakura found the key inside the same box as she keeps the Star Key and figured that she should be using it.

Sakura casts The Fly for Syaoran (without her wand) and FLIGHT for herself (using the Dream Wand). It’s not very clear to me if all the new cards are in this reality or only a few (FLIGHT, RECORD).

Syaoran uses his board to find out the source of the watch’s power and they find out it’s coming from “the Moon”, but Sakura soon realizes it’s not the real Moon and cuts it using The Sword card (which she conjured using the Dream Wand). Errol points out that she is stronger and is in full control of her powers =)

Inside the false Moon they found “dragon-chan”, the creature that appeared in the early chapters, some dream sequences and is usually associated with Kaito.

We still need to see the Lillie in her “Mysterious Cloaked Figure” version again, after all she said Sakura would meet her when Sakura wears this dress that she’s wearing. She appeared with “dragon-chan” in some dream scenes too so we’ll see…

This was a somewhat quick chapter. A lot of pages used to get Sakura and Syaoran to the point where dragon-chan is.

Very curious to see what Sakura will do to fix all this mess…

33 pages for this chapter. 146 pages for volume 15 so far! With likely 2 chapters left, volume 15 is on its way to become the bulkiest Clear Card volume of all.

Chapter 76 will come out on August 1st!
