The cover art for the Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ vol. 2 has been revealed!

This time we have Sakura alone, but holding the dream wand. Does that mean that Sakura will be always alone in all covers?
There is also a glimpse of the acrylic keychain, with a new drawing by CLAMP, that will come with the special limited edition.
Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ vol. 2 will be released on April 1st.

We not only got a Sakura wearing a costume which colors and style remind us a LOT of Syaoran old chinese costume, but even the new artwork (I suspected it would be chibis since they said it would be a keychain, so I’m not surprised) is also an adorable SxS pairing?!

Did they finally realize we poor fans have been craving to see their romance for 20 years and they are being kind on us? XD
Anyway! VERY HAPPY with what we got, and as for a previous question I made: ‘will all the covers from now on only feature Sakura?’, it looks like we got the answer right there, and no Kero this time! Instead, we got the new wand, which we still don’t know if it’s definitely hers or not…

The new covers seem more… colorful? Like they are really going further with the color palettes. I guess they don’t want to repeat themselves =) This cover looks very beautiful!
It’s kinda weird that Kero is out and the wand is in. It doesn’t seem like there is a clear pattern. We might get neither of them in the cover of volume 3…

It’s really reassuring to see Sakura holding the new staff with a smile. The last time we saw an official colored art with those two together (Chapter 5, I think), it was with Sakura looking somewhat upset and surrounded by ice shards. It looked almost ominous. I’m sure the time will come when CLAMP will give some more detail about the staff. Though maybe from now on, they’ll start featuring Sakura with her new staff on the covers. Volume 1 with Kero might be a one time thing? Who knows?
And of course, the new volume just had to be released on April 1st! Such great timing!

Gorgeous! That costume is gorgeous! I reeeeaaaallly want to see syaoran in a costume that matches this one. They would look so stylish together. I think This costume looks more grown-up cute. And i love the colours👍^^

CLAMP are really indo gradient colors as of lately =) They were all over in Nirai Kanai.

For better news, I’ve got my spring break from university coming up next week, so I’m finally going to have time to finish that Story Guide translation. D:( Thank you so much for your patience — I know I keep on pushing my “deadline” back.

LOL yes xD Also, we were kind of right regarding the yellow… the flower petals are yellow 😉 It seems like CLAMP are taking their color palette a step further.
Oh I can’t wait to read the translations for the guide interview ! You know I’ve been eagerly waiting for it!
