The splash page reminded me of Tsubasa, somehow! I don’t understand this thing with monthly series not having a color page every month, it should be a rule to have a new color page every month! xD

Piffle Princess <3!!!! And who is that blond Kamui? Even his uniform (?) looks like Kamui's, except it doesn't have the school symbol at the neck. His name is Tokugawa Iemitsu, also a character from Japanese mythology history, as usual in GATE 7. Wikipedia says Iemitsu had a rival brother so maybe he will also appear later…?
Iemitsu obviously took advantage of Chikahito’s kindness… seriously he can’t fool me with those eyes, so fake!!! xD
What about those other two new characters who looked like they came out of Matrix? XD Dita and Zima, anyone? They look like his bodyguards or something? Of course one of them is one-eyed…
3 new characters in this chapter, they all look so AWESOME and well-drawn >.< GATE 7 has so many characters by now (12 at least) and I barely know the names of half of them XDDD what's happening to meeeeeee?

I did read all chapters (except this one) and I still have a hard time to form an opinion xD it’s so complicated, it’s Japan at its core!

No, Tachibana is somehow connected to the Tokugawa. He twitches when Masamune mentions the Tokugawa. Even Chikahito notices it.

Well… I’m personally not finding this “LULZ I’M SOMEONE FROM JAPANESE HISTORY WHO REINCARNATED” plot quite that good, seriously. At least shows how we should refer to reincarnations on the CLAMP Universe…

I totally love this chapter! Masamune fawning over Hana is so cute and I really like the relationship between Hana and Tachibana. He’s like an overprotective older brother to her. 🙂
I have to go now, I’ll write some more about it when I get back I think.

I’m back!
The new woman is actually Yagyuu Jubei Mitsuyoshi. So yeah, they genderflipped a samurai. 🙂 I thought we’d only get male characters since most important historical figures from the Sengoku era are male, so this is nice. She wears an eyepatch because the real Yagyuu Jubei only had one eye as well.
The other new character is the monk Tenkai who served the Tokugawa family.
I already like Iemitsu, Jubei and Tenkai. I think they’ll make good villains. Iemitsu apparently has a really strong oni too. If I understand correctly, he found the way to Oda Nobunaga and Mara first, and Mikoto found out from him.
I’m also starting to like Mikoto a lot. She’s a bit trollish, it’s cute.

The BLOOD-C anime has the “Motoe” twin sisters, right? Their seiyuu is hosting the web radio BLOOD-R, and Mokona made this drawing who is supposed to be a mix of Lady Gaga and a Motoe sister, I think xD

Same here so many new faces, so many names and facts all cramped into so few chapters. o.O
It's like we got the 10 first tankoubon of X cramped into three books. ^^;
I need to sit down and reread all the chapters more carefully.
Also, I concur, at least one color page should be reserved for Clamp every month, what's wrong with them. XD
More than Kamui, the blond guy remind me of Nokoru, although more wicked that ever. ^_^
