The March issue of monthly Shonen Magazine Special will carry a double-sided poster of Tsubasa!
It is unclear whether it’ll feature new illustrations by CLAMP or already released ones, stay tuned for more info!
The magazine will be released on February 20.
On another note, Weekly Shonen Magazine announces that starting on the next chapter, Tsubasa will be officially reaching its climax:
In other words, that means the manga is reaching its very final chapters.

Yea, CLAMP is so busy now, do they really have the time to draw 2 new illus?
I got into TRC at the end of 2005 and started following the manga weekly in the middle of 2006, there’s not really anything (manga wise of course XDDD) to look forward to every week when TRC finishes. But I’m looking forward to Gate 7 and the possible continuations of GD and X 😀

Less than $10.00, around $8-ish.

I just hope Australian dollars rise by August, I can’t afford 14 dollars every month unless I cut down on other manga… I’ll probably end up ordering online though, since my local manga store seems to dislike CLAMP and does not stock CLAMP manga in English except for TRC and holic.

Isn’t it interesting how they’re using such early illustrations on the banners, if I’m not mistaken, then those are the cover for volume 6 and splash for chap. 100..?

What happened with the subplot with the X characters? D: I was looking forward to seeing Kamui, Subaru, Fuuma, and Seishirou ALL TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME. :3 Maybe I’m just greedy. Damn CLAMP for just teasing us with all that.

I think CLAMP was teasing us with that…maybe as a lead-in to resuming serialization of X? Initially I thought they might resolve it, but given that there’s so little time left (we just finished volume 26 this week, so another two dozen chapters tops), it’ll probably just be left as is.

I think CLAMP will pick that plot up again, I have NO IDEA how since I don’t think there will be more than 2 volumes left. Maybe it’ll be quick, but it will be picked up again, I think.

Actually there wasn’t much Kodansha calendars this year. It’s not like TRC and XXXHOLiC were put aside, more like almost all the other series o.o

No official word yet =/ But I don’t think Tsubasa will last more than 28 volumes and XXXHOLiC, my bet is either 15 or 16.

I’m personally expecting 2-3 more volumes to wrap everything left untold or unresolved + ‘the end’ of the series -meaning 28 or 29 in total, and we just finished the 26th-
BTW, can this special shonen mag be bought online? *I seem to be asking you that a lot lately aha ^^;;;*

I actually thought about the possibility of it ending with 27 volumes, but I personally think it is very unlikely to happen: finish everything in 1 book would be pushing it too hard. We still don’t know what is FWR ‘story’, we will certainly get one huge crossover with Holic real soon, we don’t know what in the Hell was Clow doing there as a King, neither what is the ‘final conclusion’ of this journey, we are still wondering about the infamous Dream that have to come to an end, and we will need yet more chapters for the CCS|SS awaiting parents whom are who knows where, plus just what in the Hell is under the ruins? etc etc…
I side with you on the 28 count, and 29 as the very maximum.

I agree. CLAMP is known for rushing everything in their final volumes. Revelation after revelation is spit and there isn’t much time to digest them XD
But I think there’s far too many things for one volume. And they would have to stretch it till May/June, when volume 27 will be released.

It’ll be the first manga that I read since Chapter 1 that I’m going to see the ending. All other mangas were already over or already being serialized when I started reading them ^^ Very special moment!

When i started to read TrC it was around volume 15 or so, i cant remember…but…it’s not too much. It’s worse, all mangas i’m reading now were being publishing were i started to read them…The only one i really started is Dogs, Bullets and Carnage…that’s the main reason why i continues reading it^^ i want to see it end, hehehe~

Same here. I discovered TRC by accident (hitsuzen) just a couple of days after it started in Japan. I was just looking for a CCS pic to use as a wallpaper.

Can you tell me how often is TRC released (on weekly or monthly basis?) and how many chapter do you exact there to be?
I’m still way behind with the story (few chapters over Tokyo arc) and i want to know how long i’ll have to wait until thee end so i’ll be able to make a marathon reading manga :3

Tsubasa comes out on a weekly basis. It’s going to take a few months until the series is concluded, I’m afraid. But it should be over by the summer.

So now it’s official, that Tsubasa is reaching it’s end 😦 I think it’s good that they won’t drag the story much longer, (it’s about time they defeat Fei Wong! XD..)But still when it’s over, I’ll miss it very much. I’ve read it weekly since book ten, I really hope it will hape a good (and happy) ending, please Clamp…

I thought that TRC would be over in, like, a few weeks. But an above comment says months and by summer XD So, like….May? ^^ I had this idea in my head of it ending in March-ish… 🙂 It seems sooo near the end (“final battle” time) but of course CLAMP-sama will drag it out… ^^” And the breaks in Holic’s schedule dont surprise me. I think I somewhat expect them now! ^^

I’ll miss it – with all its craziness and confusing turns and clones.
