EDIT: Apparently there was a mistake in the July 16 CLAMP-NET.COM update, at first they stated that Kobato. would take a break in Newtype #10, but afterwards they changed the schedule and now we’ll be getting a chapter in that issue.

Again, given that the current volume will be released only in January, there must be quite a lot of breaks in store for XXXHOLiC.
• Nobuyuki Fukumoto Tribute Project
Just a small piece of news regarding the one-shot manga will draw for Kindai Mahjong Original, CLAMP-NET.COM states that this project is a tribute to Nobuyuki Fukumoto, the creator of the Akagi manga, to whom CLAMP members are big fans of.
This one-shot manga will be published in the September issue of Kindai Mahjong Original, on sale August 8. See this post for more information.

Bit off topic, but I remember you pointed out the link to Clamp no Lumiere once so I was wondering if you knew, are they haveing trouble releasing chapters or am I too impaitent? It feels like a couple of months since the last Kobato chapter but I’m not sure…

Check again Kinoha-chan! I think the people who update CLAMP’s website made a mistake when they added a break for Kobato. They changed its schedule and we don’t have a break anymore ^__^

I’m a bit lost on reading too. Before we used to have scans by Alison every Wednesday, but now everything’s kind of chaotic, we never know when we’ll be getting scans or translations, and that makes me feel lost xD

I bought the Clover deluxe editions just a few minutes ago. They are both softcover, and as far as information about future Clover releases, surveys, anything, they have absolutely zip, zilch, nada. 😦 Unless you count the line on both obi strips that says, roughly, “Suu’s wish, Kazuhiko’s feelings, Oruha’s song: 2008–with the simultaneous publication of volumes 1 and 2, the revival of expectant waiting!”
The back of the strips mentions the publication of HOLiC 13 and TRC 24. So perhaps future volumes of those two will have more information.

I don’t know, they are still quite nice, probably nicer than the original four volume printing. i particularly like the color pages in the interior, i’ve never seen them before, as well as the color pages on the cover.
Especially as I think about it, I think that the phrase “recommencement of expectant waiting” is intended to suggest strongly that Kodansha may be planning to resume the series. Certainly that’s the impression I got, and am now operating under.
