CLAMP Internet Radio #32

Very special guest this time! Maaya Sakamoto-san, or should I say, “Maaya-tan”! ^^

-When she introduced herself, I thought she forgot for a second who she played in Tsubasa Chronicle xD “Tsubasa Chronicle no……. Tomoyo-hime to ka” xDDDDD At least she remembered of Suu quite quickly.

– She’s 27 o.o I thought she was much younger, but it makes total sense since CCD’s anime aired 10 years ago ^^”

– She wanted to be a flight attendant when she was a kid ^^ I think I get now why “30minutes night flight”

– After a lot of struggle, I think she managed to say the tongue twister just fine xD

– I think she said that, for CLAMP IN WONDERLAND, she wanted to do a song that was energetic, cute and… “popping”? xD Well, she made it xD

– Is it just me or Ohkawa has troubles speaking their merchandise titles? XD “KURANPU IN WANDARANDO ichi kyu kyu go kara ni maru maru roku” (CLAMP IN WONDERLAND 1995~2006 xD), “TOKYO REBERETIONS” xD I don’t blame you, Ohkawa, I would as well xD

– Too bad they didn’t talk about CLOVER.

– Too bad also Maaya didn’t sing just for a little.

  6. I wish that iTunes would have her songs, her music is nice just got MU to download some that cloud9_alice-san uploaded awhile ago…yes, my computer has a downloading problem…

    Does anyone translate these radio sessions? Not that your summery is bad, I just wonder what else they are saying

    Only 27. o.O So she was 16 when she did Escaflowne and already had a very well controled voice. °_° My admiration for her had just reach a new level. ^_~

    Thanks for the dedicated post. I didn’t thought our love for her was so well known. ^_~

    And I want to see the japanese version of the musical Les Misérables, she’s paying in it. -_-

  12. YES!! YES!! I have been looking so forward to this ever since it was announced on Maaya’s site.

    Thanks so much for posting it!!

    It’s too bad they didn’t talk about Clover! I was hoping they’d make a great announcement that they were going to start it up again and then there’d be an OVA or something and I would get more Maaya as Suu!! Gaaaaah!! =A= /delusions

    I hope the interview is full of good stuff such as “hey you should totally voice more characters” and “continue to sing songs for our series forever” and “we will base future characters off you also please voice somebody in every anime based off our works”

  14. I heard her as Haruhi as Ouran High School Host Club and Tsubasa Chronicle’s Tomoyo-hime, but I think Haruhi’s voice is close to her actual voice!!
