So I guess the water is simply magical and that’s it. No explanation of why it multiplied itself. And I have no idea of what Yuuko meant by “fixing the world’s system”. I mean, what could possibly save this world from the acid rain? O.o (We could use it for our Earth, that is not that far from this world’s situation XDDDDDDDD).

So Fuuma is Seishirou’s brother o.o I surely didn’t see that coming, but I confess that I completely understand it. Everybody who saw the ice cream scene know what I mean ^_~

Also, and of course, I thought Fuuma had lived in this world for always. But no, he came 4 years ago o.o”

So Fuuma is ALSO traveling through worlds and thus, he knows Yuuko too, and they seem like really good friends O.o
But gosh, everybody is traveling through worlds XD I wonder what was Fuuma’s price…

Now that I think about it, Fuuma never sounded really concerned about the water. You can tell the others are very worried because their life is in danger but Fuuma, he knows that he can set off this world as soon as he wants to XDDD (Or so I think).

Kamui didn’t know as well that Fuuma and Seishirou were brothers (gosh, look at his reaction XDDD He really hates Seishirou XDD), but Fuuma knows Kamui through Seishirou o.o If Seishirou met Subaru and Kamui, I wonder what happened that made them to start running away from Seishirou. I really wish to know more about these 4.

Wait, I said 4? I meant 5, because seems like Hokuto IS Subaru’s sister after all ! If I understood right, that is XD But I think I did since Fuuma said only one of the twins that Seishirou is looking for is in this world, which means there’s another twin O.o Whether she’s dead or not I don’t know, but I don’t think so (otherwise Seishirou wouldn’t be looking for BOTH twins, duh! XD). (Ignore that, turns out that I DIDN’T understand things right XDDD I mean, Kamui and Subaru really are the twins).

This chapter surely reminded me a lot of X, with all the battles and the Kamui/Fuuma interaction XD And Subaru showed his claws, literally, finally ! XD He looks cool.

But the BEST quote, definitely, was Yuuko’s “You brothers are trouble-makers” XDDDDDDDDDDDD I loved that line… and I bet she was rolling her eyes all along XDDDDDDDD That’s Ohkawa speaking through her, I’m sure XD

I don’t have to say that I loved that Sakura will be paying the price, do I? But before worshiping her more than she deserves, I’ll wait till she rescues what she’s told to. And the fact that she’s going alone, alone this time makes me even happier. And check out the last page !!! She’s taking a GUN with her *____________* Please, Ohkawa, make her use the gun ! *Stupid Yuuto loves women guns*
…I just hope she doesn’t do anything stupid.

I loved her new clothes *-* She finally got in the mood xD And that bag got me curious…

I loved the way CLAMP drew Watanuki’s sight, with the patch getting in the way.

About Himawari, it turned out that I was wrong. I thought the problem wasn’t with Himawari, but Watanuki. But in the end, she really is cursed. However, I was still right in thinking that she’s not EVIL and that she wants to bring Watanuki bad luck. On the contrary, she doesn’t want to, it’s just that she can’t help it.

A lot of you might think I’m crazy, but after this chapter, Himawari is my new favorite character. I mean, she’s not the 1st one, obviously, but she’s among my favorites now.

Unless we’re gonna find out that she’s COMPLETELY mental, but I don’t think she’s mental. The thing is, I think she very strong. Strong because she has a damn cursed life but still, she didn’t give up on living. She has ALL the reasons one could possibly have to stop willing to live, and yet, she didn’t.
Kohane’s sorrow is much softer than Himawari’s, IMO, and look at Kohane, she’s oozing angst.

That’s something completely personal, I guess, because I am a little like that. I don’t like to express my sorrows. Because of that, I tend to like characters that smile, above any conditions. Hence why I love characters like Fye and specially Chitose.

Maybe she’s not strong enough because she can’t lift this curse of hers, but I mean, how many people in her condition wouldn’t have killed themselves already? The weak ones would, surely.

So, unless in the end we discover that she smiles all the time because she’s nuts and emotion-less, I’ll be believe that behind all those smiles she was crying.

Maybe Watanuki will be the one who’ll change her. It’s hard to believe he won’t feel touched about her story.

However, I am not fully satisfied with CLAMP’s explanation. Okay the girl is cursed. But why? She simply is because she is, just like that? Nobody is that cursed out of nothing ! I agree with whoever said in the chapter that that must be psychological.

And why is Doumeki so blessed? I mean why does HE has to be so perfectly perfect and Himawari can’t? Because he is supposed to be Watanuki’s affair? It’s not enough to me….

Watanuki asks who were the 3 people who paid the price. Yuuko says they are Doumeki, Himawari and the third one is someone that has a very strong bond with Watanuki: Syaoran. More precisely, the true Syaoran (or by some known as CCS!Syaoran). Yuuko said he paid in advance to prevent anything from making Watanuki to disappear.

Let the speculations begin ! XDDDD

        Yeah, I’m sure she did feel useless. I think she’s felt useless all throughout the manga since C!Syaoran and, to a certain degree, Fai and Kurogane wouldn’t let her do anything even when she could. But they could have her do something else to prove her worth. Kurogane could pay something -else- for the price and Sakura could head out to take care of what’s wrong with the water. Like I said, I’m glad Sakura is -doing- something now, but Kurogane should still pay the price.

        Oh, not a problem. ^_^ We all make mistakes- that’s actually what I thought at first until I really read it.

    I think that Kamui is Subaru’s twin. What Fuuma says is that Seishirou only thought one twin was in that world which seems to imply Subaru …until you read Fuuma’s next comment which is “You two met up again all right?” which would seem to mean that Kamui is Subaru’s twin and not Hokuto. I could be wrong but I think what the implication is that Seishirou thought Kamui was the only one of the twins on that world, maybe because the feather was masking his presence. Unless the translation is really off base.

    • I agree. i think fuuma thought that kamui was the only twin in this world, since subaru was imprisoned in the cocoon until now, and probably the feather power doesnt let him felt his presence. i´m almost sure that this is the true, and that subaru and kamui are twins in this story. why not? now sei and fuuma are brothers- that makes a lot of sense to me, they are very alike-
      Ah, that spoiler makes me happy! perhaps syaoran will play another important rol in the future! and… do i understood correctly: watanuki and syaoran are relatives? oh, my! maybe i´m right after all. i said before that i was suspicious about why clamp didnt show watanuki´s parent´s faces. Could it be Clow? Or… i´m afraid to sound stupid, but this cross my mind a minutes ago: maybe they are sakura and syaoran, from ccs? is crazy, i know, but… in holic, even when we know that this is the same world as in ccs, we are not sure about the current time. maybe the events in ccs took place years ago.

        I really don’t think that Sakura and Syaoran are Watanuki’s parents…Like you said, CCS and XXXHolic are the same world but we don’t know about the time…STILL! Syaoran looks like a teenager : do you think he could have gotten back from Honk Kong, married Sakura, got a kid, died (since Watanuki’s parents are dead…) and then revive, get younger, get kidnapped and cloned by Fei Wong, then remembering his kid in all this mess, give some price to Yuuko to protect his life…? ^^;;
        But, without going this far, I will just say one thing : they don’t look alike AT ALL no matter from where you look at them!!!
        Anyway…the chapters of the weeks were interesting but it seems like that the chapter everyone will be waiting for next wednesday will be xxxholic119…The fact there’s a “strong bond” between Syaoran and Watanuki is definitely one of the most surprising thing that ever occurred in both series. That could confirm the fact that real|Syao IS CCS|Syao : Syao and Wata related + CCS|World and XXXHolic world being the same one = CCS|Syao is Real|Syao from Tsubasa…maybe?
        The other thing I’m wondering about is : Real|Syao was a prisoner and the only thing he should have known about was the things going around his clone, which is why we are not surprised seeing how he knows everything about Fye, Kuro, the feathers…etc…BUT!!!How the hell could he have known something will happen to Watanuki in the future and give Yuuko a price in advance for it? Can he see the future? Like Sakura and Eriol from CCS?

        • Yeah, i also think is imposible for syaoran to do all this things, but maybe we forget about time travelling. Perhaps clamp give us a clue in the sharano-shurano arc. and you are assuming that realsyao is ccssyao, if he is not, then it could be possible, dont you think? anyway, i hope this will be just my stupid idea, and wata parents result to be somebody else. also, i agree that watanuki, sakura and syao are really diferent fisically, so probably you are right.
          Yeah, for the first time in my life, next week i will be waiting anxiously for holic and with reluctancy for trc. Lets hope the future will give us a super-mega-shorty sakura show and start again with some interesting things… ¬_¬ well, at least let me dream. dont you?

        And yeah, I’m a bit depressed about that myself. I love Hokuto and as amused as I am by Subaru and Kamui as the twins, it would be awesome to see her again. Perhaps they’ll pop up in another world and run into her … And then be really confused because Subaru is suddenly a girl!

  4. Yeah, I think the translation was a bit confusing on the part about the twins. You have to think for three years Fuuma only saw one of them, and Seishirou had said that they were always together, so Fuuma was confused.

    I loved Fuuma in this chapter, he has such a mischievous smile. I think all that talk big brother Sei-chan did about Kamui helped to garner his interest. Subaru is that calm scary, with the “please” and all. o_O

    I’m extremely happy that Sakura is getting to become more independent, she needs some major character development. The scene with her and Kurogane really reminded me of Piffle, he understands her more than he lets on.

    I feel both sorry and creeped out by Himawari. The fact that she knew she’d cause Watanuki problems and still did so is what bothers me to an extent. She may have been lonely, but she still knowingly put him at risk.

    So Syaoran paid for Watanuki, that really fuels suspicions that Watanuki is related to Clow. Also the look that R!Syaoran gave to him when he visited Yuuko always bothered me, so maybe this is why?

        Perhaps you’re right. I think he may still be able to see Himawari, if only when Doumeki is around. It seems that he cancels out her bad luck when he’s present. I highly doubt Watanuki would leave her alone if he feels she’s lonely, the woman at the park bench comes to mind here (good timing for that one, eh?). Although that depends on if the lesson he learned from then comes into play here or not.

      I definitely agree with you that she better use that gun a lot! Otherwise, if she doesn’t use the gun it will be pointless and incredibly stupid. But I know that CLAMP wouldn’t do that. I definitely loved that you invented the “Kinomoto Factor” to describe if Sakura used the attitude or actions that were similar to Sakura Kinomoto!!

            • I KNEW Watanuki had something to do with Clow. This makes me really happy, personally I’ve always loved the crossover angle. What price did Syaoran pay, though? And in advance? Watanuki really does have a lot of people willing to pay very highly to keep him around.

              I definitely agree, Yuuto-san, that Himawari has just learned to grin & bear it, and that she probably isn’t evil. That said, it was still unnerving to see her smiling all the way through that little speech. I liked her better looking serious at the beginning. A little manic, that. And I’d be hugely surprised if Watanuki didn’t try to pay to remove her curse or whatever it is. I didn’t really realize until this chapter, though, just how close he came to dying…silly of me really, he fell from nearly the third or fourth floor…but he is literally covered in bandages.

              I was really glad to see Sakura getting involved for a change…hopefully it becomes permanent. Needless to say I love her outfit too. And I liked that she was easing Kurogane’s burden a bit. Now all he has to do is let Fai be his leech.

            • Oh, I don’t think the connection with Shaoran is a “bad” thing in itself. It was a shock and it looks weird out of context, but now that I’ve thought about it it already sounds better than I first thought. After all, HOLiC and TRC were very connected with each other from the beginning. It makes sense if Watanuki and Shaoran have something in common (but I won’t try to guess what until I see the actual chapter).

              What confuses me a lot is that, honestly, I don’t see how they’re going to pull it off if he’s CCS!Shaoran. I think you might be right about that, but… there are too many plotholes with the end of CCS. Ohkawa will have to work a lot if she wants me to believe it. 😛

                Indeed. And if you look back around vol 2 (I think O.o) You can see two panels: One with Watanuki and the other with Syaoran and Sakura. Then Yuuko says something around “This side is like this and this side is like that”, I don’t know the exact words, but you know what I’m talking about, those sentences that doesn’t say ANYTHING XD

                Besides, it’s very likely that the end of TRC will cross with XXXHOLiC, so maybe that’s one of the connections.

Thanks for the news. i just read the translation and saw the chaps. this time i got to say that i like better holic, and you might guess why…yeah, i dont like sakura gettin all the credit. Why she has to be an action heroine again? she was the only almighty heroine in ccs. You can say that until now, in trc she was only a fragile princess, but she was not, clamp give her already a unique and incredible power, making her the most important clue in the story. i thought that should be enough. why she also have to be a fighter?- , i really prefer to see other characters doing things, and also i truly prefer to get a chapter with more information and less action. it´s already time, gd!!
    By the way, even when she have a gun, she is not going to shoot anybody. remember she is all tender and sweetnes.¬_¬ C´mon, clamp. no more sakura!
    PD: sorry for all the people who like sakura, but i´m really irritated right now. usually i dont hate any chara, and until this chapter, i like sakura a little, since she is inocent and tender, but, this time i´m sick of her.
    On the contrary, i really like himawari now. i think her smile is just a mask. If i remember well, she always try to avoid being alone with watanuki, she always ask doumeki to be close, to protect watanuki from her. i will be waiting next chapter anxiously. i hope my thoughts will be correct and watanuki realizes that she really cares for him.

      LOL!!! XDDDDD You’re right about Sakura being all sweet and tender. And besides, it was enough that she got all the action in Piffle World since it was a Cardcaptor Sakura concept. However, sweetness and tender is not going to make that sand-worm go away (Gomen ne).

      I will be honest and confess I found her kinda cool in this chapter and I won’t be mad at Clamp ONLY IF they show her a LITTLE as a “fan service” for all Sakura’s fans…BUT!If she become a protagonist (who are we kidding? She is ALREADY a protagonist!!)and we start seeing her everywhere in the 10 next chapters, I think I will get real mad 😦
      Anyway! Since it seems like Tsubasa is centered on Sakura, it seems like Clamp couldn’t find anyway to talk about Syaoran but by putting him in XXXHolic ^^;; I really wanna know what is this “strong bond” they share…

  8. Yo, Chibi-Yuuto! About HOLiC, all I can say that she is a great jinx. I would tell Watanuki to find somebody else or stay with Doumeki forever. But anyway, I loved the chapter although I not sure if I should believe about if the speculations of Chapter 119 are true. That would be really cool if it’s Syaoran. Himawari-chan wa totemo kowai desu!! O__o

    As for Tsubasa, it just gets any better than this! OMG, I got shocked when Fuuma said that Seishirou is his brother!! X__x Well, no Seishirou (too bad that the gods didn’t hear me on this one); however, at least there was another Kamui/Fuuma fight!! Yatta!!! / That made my day and it almost the same as the one from the Shinjuku fight (with a little shounen-ai) on “X” manga. I have to agree with you that I too loved the scene where Subaru got in the middle threatening Fuuma with the claws!!

    But this was Sakura all over it!! “Suteki desu wa!” on the Sakura’s outfit for Tokyo with gun and a utility belt. Her outfit is twice as better then Lara Croft’s!! (Gomen ne, Tomb Raider fans) Good eyes Chibi-Yuuto, I noticed the gun. Thanks for the hint!! ^__^ It’s about bloody time that she will finally kick some ass on her own!! She better kick some ass with that gun! (Just like Yuzuriha, only better!)

      On Tsubasa Chronicle Episode 39 “The Beginning of the Separation”, there’s a scene where Sakura is using a gun to fire at the bike gang (actually a hand-held laser-gun). Oh crap, now I got that Aerosmith’s song “Janie’s Got A Gun” stuck on my head.

      Insert stupid improv joke:

      Instead of “Janie’s Got a Gun” it should be called “Sakura’s Got A Gun” or hear her say that famous quote from the movie Die Hard: “Yippee-ki-yay, MF!” (Yeah, like that’s going to ever happen!) Dang… X__x

      I didn’t notice the gun for the first time, because the scans weren’t of Ali-san’s so they were smaller and thus, hard to notice. I noticed the gun at the very last moment XD It’s a very small gun, I don’t think too many people noticed it.

    I can’t wait to see the price for the water, well i think it was ok for sakura to pay, cause yuuko didn’t saying in return. I hope sakura doesn’t have to use the gun *didn’t even notice it was there* I can’t imagine sakura with a gun. I am also glad to sakura getting to do more things *she is my favorite female character*.

    I don’t suppose that Himawari is supposed to be the anti-Doumeki then? We need to know more about Himawari… and how did CCS Syaoran know to pay to save Watanuki? o_O Another mystery…

        That’s not quite what I meant. By anti-Doumeki, I meant she’s an opposite opposing force to what Doumeki is to Watanuki. You know, like Yin and Yang, thus the reason why nothing bad happens around Watanuki when Doumeki is with him and Himawari.

    My english is not perfect.. but you make me wonder about Himawari’s curse. Maybe her luck is very bad because Sakura’s luck is so strong. Yuuko talks about balance a lot. Sakura’s good luck has to come from somewhere… did it come from Himawari?

    Thanks so much for the updates! You what, I am your biggest fan XD. Like you said earlier, I feel sorry for Himawari (I’m not a big fan of hers). I’m still making some of the speculation but I think Himawari likes Watanuki as a friend and I think Watanuki felt her sadness unconciously. To be perfectly honest, I’m not a Himawari x Watanuki shipper XD (DouWata shipper here!) But yeah it’s so sad. I want to know about what are their payment to rescue Watanuki.

    I think the speculation might be true that Watanuki is like distant relative of Clow Reed. That’s interesting. Plus… Like Watanuki’s mom said, who is the person who will meet him and won’t disappoint in the future… Hmmm…
    Plus, I’m getting worried, I know Doumeki can’t enter the shop because he doesn’t need but still he still asked Yuuko’s help but still he can’t enter the shop, and Doumeki’s wasn’t there, so I’m nervous…

    As for Himawari, I think Clamp have a better explanation for this, or did Clamp sometimes leave a mystery to it? So is Doumeki why is he …perfect… as yuuto-chan stated, yes we need this explanation. XD

      At least I would be MUCH happier with a better explanation. An annonymous posted a very good theory about how everything in the world is very well-balanced. Just as Sakura, or even Doumeki, is very very luck, Himawari, on the other hand, totally lacks on luck.

    • I think it’s perfectly normal for Sakura to act like that O.o She’s little by little returning to what she was before (someone with a strong Kinomoto Factor XDD). She’s simply very determined, she’ll do anything to get what she wants, from winning a race to shooting a gun XDDDDDD

    I think I might be the only die-hard TB/X fanperson who isn’t that upset about the next chapter probably being Sakura centered. But Sakura character development is love (And I don’t think the lovely vampires and Fuuma are going to leave quite yet) and Sakura looks best in shorts and boots I think, no matter what ‘world’ she’s from! ^___^

    The Himawari thing is fabulous, I agree that she’s showing a smiling face because she doesn’t want to worry anybody.

    CCS!Syaoran? Seriously? O.o
    Oh god, my Wantanuki is a Clow relative theories are bouncing off the walls now…

    Hey, I’ve never posted here before, but I’m a CLAMP fan who’s lurked around here for your great info and theories. :3 I was reading the spoilers for xxxHOLiC 119, and…wow, Syaoran…and yeah, that definately points to a link to Clow. But I’d like to point out one theory that’s seemed to have gone quiet:

    What if the connection to Watanuki isn’t CLOW directly, but ERIOL. >> Seriously, we’ve seen no sign of him, despite Fugitaka being around, and it makes me wonder….Could Watanuki BE Eriol, in some way? I know it sounds kind of weird, but I think that CCS!Syaoran’s glares and wish payment just make it more probable – Syaoran was always glaring to Eriol, but I’m also sure he’d help him if need be. And who’s to say what happened to the CCS!Eriol after he left for England, eh? :3

      Ackk! it’s syaroan! that’s just…so. Huh. Well, this may explain why Watanuki said he felt as if he had known Syaoran for a long time. God knows what Watanuki’s past is, but I have noticed that in the past few chapters Watanuki has had the habit of smiling -just like- Eriol would. I mean, come on, this is Watanuki, why would he have these random wise-and-all-knowing clowlike smiles? He really, really resembles Eriol, way more than CLow IMO.

      He could be Eriol’s son, his true age should have been the same as Fujitaka. I think Mizuki would be too young to be his mother, but we still don’t know how long ago CCS took place in correlation to Holic. Eriol went to live in England with Mizuki though.

      Tis confusing and all speculation. He is connected to Clow in some way though, as Clow knew about Watanuki.

        Eriol (and Mizuki?)’s kid, tho….I could buy that :3 It would take a lot of explaining, since this would point to the real Syaoran being from CCS, and time clearly hasn’t passed THAT much.

        Well, HOW Watanuki would be the CCS! Eriol, I’m not quite sure. My only claim is we have no clue what happened to him after he amd Mizuki went to England. And I must remember that Yuuko’s world IS the same world as CCS. I guess my main point is, with his mannerisms and Real!Syaoran’s looks and actions, it strongly points to a connection not just to Clow, but Eriol himself. :/ Maybe Watanuki HIMSELF isn’t of that world, and is actually another Eriol? XD

    And if I was Yuuko I would set a travel agency XDDDDD interesting the point is that she saved Mokona for Syaoran and Co. and the ‘fantastic 4’ were able to pay the price for themselves? as somebody said, problaby Fuma paid with sex XDDDD I wonder how is that the price was so high for Syaoran, Fay and Kurogane….

    I love this week’s chap. There’re so many suprises and X goodness, I’m not too sure whether I can absorb it all!

    Fuuma + Seishirou = brothers???? O.O What the…That has got to be the biggest twist of all!! It completely caught me off guard and had to reread the sentence again and again to see whether I misread it or something. Nonetheless, I had to congratulate CLAMP for another job well done in surprising us.

    For some reason, I can’t seem to fathom the idea that they are brothers. It just seems…wrong. But then again, if Kamui and Subaru are twins, I guess there’s nothing impossible about Sei and Fuuma, too.

    (Ignore that, turns out that I DIDN’T understand things right XDDD I mean, Kamui and Subaru really are the twins).

    Don’t worry. You’re not the only one who got confused for a minute there. I, too thought that Kamui is not his twin but when I read the next sentence, everything seems clear to me. I’m kinda sad that it’s so since that means no Hokuto-chan. Is CLAMP planning to show her appearance or not?

    Fuuma and Kamui’s one column of X dedication = pure win! That scene got me all nostalgic and this just shows how much I miss X. Damn CLAMP. Oh! And scary!Subaru is really…scary. O.O I never knew the sweet Subaru had that side of him, be it in TB or X.

    I love Sakura’s new outfit. It no longer potrayed her as the damsel in distress anymore. The outfit simply screams action and adventure in her part. I like it.

    Thank you so much for the scans update, though I can’t find a transcript of TRC, but I got an idea with the comments.

    Sei+Fuuma=brothers!!!!! that’s a big twist. And why they’re looking for Kamui and Subaru?? that’s obvious to me XD I’ll look for them world after world, you know? 😉

    Something is wrong with me, I shouldn’t lust after a manga character!!!, but vamp!Kamui look soooo hot, and Subaru too! I was squealing like a maniac!! ::roomie rolling eyes “tsubasa update, right?”::

    I liked the “Kinomoto factor”, let´s hope she don’t have to deal with that gross big worms that remind me of Star Wars, YUCK! I think it’s good she do something, for a change (and Kurogane has to feed Fai, hehehe), really the dynamic of the team is changing. And really liked the way they showed Sakura getting ready, very action-moviesque (the sequence of Sakura getting ready with the boot, the glove and the belt).

    About Holic, Himawari’s story is really sad, but creeped me out the fact that she didn’t stopped smiling. But what should be the price she paid? Stop seeing Watanuki? Getting away from him?
    I have two theories: or she just can’t ask to get rid of her luck, she is MEANT to give bad luck everyone to keep things in order and going; or she asked for a change of luck -I don’t really think so-and the price is leaving Watanuki.
    I don’t think Doumeki is perfect, he don’t show what he is really thinking or how he feels, only Yuuko can see through him. In some episode he is going to crack like Kurogane.
    About the Spoilers, If Watanuki is related to CCS!Syaoran, and then, to Clow, I can only think of Fujitaka, maybe his parents and all are fake memories, but I can’t think of something to support this theory, because Fujitaka only can remember his life after he met Nadeshiko, and Watanuki have memories of his parents.

    The best is that we have episodes for next week!!

    I must say, Himawarichan is now one of my favorite character! At first I though she just a normal girl that nice and cute like many other usual girls in manga. But when I read this chapter, I feel pity sorry for her… She keeps smiling all the time she tells Watanuki her story. How do you feel when you are the one that cause trouble for people whom you love? What can you do then? Stay way from them? Be alone forever??? That’s really hurt…
    Noone can’t deny the feeling that they want to be with someone, and so Himawari. She knew she cause Watanuky trouble, but she didn’t avoid him… The word Goodbye sounds so painful…

    I want to give Himawari-chan a hug (but I wonder if she causes me any bad luck XD)
    Anyways, I want to have the reason why Himawari-chan must be like that! It’s not fair for her.

    • Aww, I completely agree with you ^__^ I confess that Himawari never caught my attention, to me she was even kinda useless, if you ask me, but I’m SO glad to know that Ohkawa thought on something even for her. CLAMP just can’t create useless characters ^__^ Until the end of XXXHOLiC, I’ll be cheering for her happiness !

  29. Ok, take it easy Claudio, take it easy…. OMG!!!!! I´m thiiis close of having a heart attack!!! (kidding) xDDDDD, OK, Waaaay to much happening (in the manga and in our minds…! XD).

    -If it wasn´t for Sakura carrying a gun, I would say X characters took over TRC manga! xD
    Finally sakura is doing something, one thing that shocked me in TRC was that “this” sakura has nothing to do with CCS´s Sakura, but now it seems that finally she would help out in something XD Poor Sakura-chan, I like her anyways…
    -Hokuto, My only hope is that she will appear in the future, changing and screwing every theory about the vampire twins we may have XD. NO, seriously I only hope that when she appears, she will be a queen or something really important with a lot of lines and protagonism! xD . At least now we have tons of SubaruXKamui shippers happy drolling over the manga XD (in which group I include myself XDDD)
    -XXHolic´s plot seems to be slowly preparing itself to explote! XD

  30. The implications of what goes on inside of Himawari’s head now that we know she’s truly cursed is intriguing to think about. She has to be perfectly cheerful all the time while everyone around her suffers just because she’s around. Wow.

    I’m not exactly satisfied with CLAMP’s explanation either, but maybe it really just is bad luck and we’ll leave it at that.

    Now that you’ve mentioned it, Doumeki is a little too perfect. I mean, he always ends up saving Watanuki and nothing really bad’s happened to him yet. C’mon, we need a life-threatening injury!

    xxxHOLiC wins over Tsubasa this week, so I obviously don’t have much to say about Tsubasa other than I’m happy that Sakura’s taking things into her own hands.

    Poor Himawari, I hope we’ll see her again! You know… I started thinking that the priest who checked her was Haruka Doumeki… that’s why he died!XD Ok… this is not so funny, but if one can’t laugh about it, what lasts?^^

    Fuuma… Seishiro’s brother? I found it funny! XD Fascinating, yes… but still funny! After Subaru and Kamui being brothers… XD
    I still think that Hokuto isn’t Subaru’s twin (…But there are possibilities that she’s Kotori’s sister in some world!XD) because when Fuuma said those things, you can read them as “when I came here , only one of the twins was here (Kamui)” but just because Subaru was sleeping!

    SYAORAN???O___o Ok… now all my absurd theories about Watanki being a Clow descendant and in some way Syaoran’s or Sakura’s or Eriol’s relative don’t seem so absurd any more! I’m still quite convinced about him as Eriol&Kaho’s son… it would have so many menings! He would have been Clow reincarnation’s son, just like Sakura is! But it would not explain why Syaoran have such strong bond with him… O___o

    Ahh! I knew there was something between Watanuki and Syaoran! Still don know what but OMG, I thought it was a Clow/Yuuko plan thing but Real!Syaoran’s in on it too. Explains why he stared at Watanuki when he went through Yuuko’s shop.

    Yay for new-old Sakura! Love her outfit and her being less of a damsel in distress and more of the determined young woman she was in CCS.

    I’m glad someone else doesnt hate HImwari. A lot of peopel are like “OMG She hurt Watanuki! That bitch! die die die eviiiiil!”
    You cant blame her for wanting to be friends with someone, besides she did avoid getting too close and going out with him a lot. Maybe she thought he’d be better off cos he can see spirits etc.

  33. We still did not know why Watanuki is so fond of Himawari though.

    Although in this chapter it shows that he is now afraid of her presence instead. Yuuko and Haruka had ask what made Watanuki attracted to Himawari but Watanuki did not quite understand why yet…

    Yuuko did notice what Himawari is from first times they met (in the hundred ghost stories chapter) as she even comment how interesting Himawari is… Perhaps, like many people suggest, Watanuki will later ask Yuko is there a way to rid Himarwari of her misfortuness. If so it will be stored in her treasure house like the rest of her stuff ^^

    As for why Himawari give out bad lucks to the people she interact with, perhaps it is because there is her equal somewhere in the world? The one that give out good lucks to the people he/she interact with.

  34. I think its the same with the ghost lady, but only acts subconciously.

    If you look at the manga you can see that at first Watanuki sees her with a white background and then in the next she has black mist behind her, and we all know what that means. Oh yeah, and it keeps on focusing on his right eye, ne? 😀

    I don’t think he was afraid of her, its kinda more like “How can you tell me this with a smiling face?”. He’ll help her, thats pretty much a knee-jerk reaction with him isnt it?

    Doumeki being perfect? XD No I don’t think he, just as Himawari isn’t all that bad and I have a feeling that Watanuki might still find an excuse to hate his guts. But hey you can put it this way… Don’t you want to absolutely be the best you can be infront of the one you love? XDDD

    Poor Himawari-chan T-T She was not my favourite character at all, but now I really like her because we got to discover she is a very strong person. I wonder if Watanuki will pay a price to make her curse disappear…. (Can it be? Or I’m too crazy? XD)

    Wah! I just realized I forgot something.
    After this chapter, I was thinking we’d heard all of Himawari’s secrets, at least. (though not what’s to be done about it.) But, her bad luck just doesn’t seem, like, all there could be. I mean, why was Ame-Warashi so scared of her? I doubt it was just her name or the bad luck thing. And I’m pretty sure this doesn’t explain why they needed HER ribbons for the Hydrangea rescue. What does bad luck have to do with that?

    Watanuki asks who were the 3 people who paid the price. Yuuko says they are Doumeki, Himawari and the third one is someone that has a very strong bond with Watanuki: Syaoran. More precisely, the true Syaoran (or by some known as CCS!Syaoran). Yuuko said he paid in advance to prevent anything from making Watanuki to disappear.

    Syaoran, huh? Very interesting. I would have never guessed him, though I did read some rumors that it may be him. I’m getting more and more excited to find out more Watanuki’s future role that makes him so important. 😀 Hopefully Doumeki will be right there with him. ^^

    This is where I think the anime may run into a bit of a rough spot. After all, they haven’t put any Tsubasa in it and they have tried to avoid it as best as possible. I can see why they did in some ways, but then again, Tsubasa is part of xxxHolic and they were bound to run into this problem sooner or later. I’m just wondering how the anime will handle this part.
