**I’m assuming here that this is the 5 chapters of volume 19 that were never published in tankoubon format before.
To me it’s a bad sign that they have absolutely no idea of when they’ll be publishing X #19, so they want to release what they have. I just hope I’m wrong.
On the other hand, I’m utterly happy that we’re gonna get new X colored art *____* I hope the style will be of X itself.

This episode will be written by Ageha Ohkawa.
21 – Temptation
Another original episode (I think). I can’t relate the summary to any of the manga arcs. Nor I can come up with a decent summary. (because of the odd translation).
(四月一日は侑子から特別に休みをもらい、部屋で漫画を読みあさっていた。その夜、差し入れに松坂牛をもってきた百目鬼(どうめき)とともに、すき焼きをすることになったのだが、四月一日が食べ過ぎで横になっていると、唐突に百目鬼が「食ってすぐ寝ると牛になる」と、迷信じみたことばを口にする。四月一日は「牛になったやつなんか見たことあんのかよ」といって百目鬼を笑うのだが……。)
Episode 22 is called “Choice”, though there’s still no summary available.
There’s still 3 episodes left, which might cover an arc or two (I know the spirit/ghost woman Watanuki was fond of will be aired still this season because there’s an image of her in this month’s anime magazines) but let’s hope there’ll be a second season to make justice with the rest of the series.
I’m VERY happy that Ohkawa shall write the one with the photograph, it’s one of my favorites arcs !
Upcoming episodes of Tsubasa Chronicle – Season 2:
16 – The Other Side of Nostalgia
In Rekoruto, Syaoran enters inside the memory of Sakura, there he realizes that the soldiers that attacked the ruins have the same symbol of the person who killed Kurogane’s mother.
17 – The Five Eyes of Tchicai
Syaoran enters inside of Kurogane’s memory again and sees the conversation between Tomoyo and Kurogane.
18 – Kero-chan and Mokona
Still in Rekoruto, Mokona wakes up after a sleeping time and finds out that Syaoran is nowhere around. Panicking, Mokona meets Cerberus, who is one of the guards of the country (possibly from the Library?). Cerberus tells Mokona that the power of Sakura’s feather made Syaoran to shrink, that’s why Mokona can’t find him. Then they find the feather…

It doesn’t seem as if the X world is going to show up at this season, but we never know, BeeTrain did Piffle in 3 episodes, they might fit the X world in the remaining ones. Not that I care about it anyway…
Code Geass Manga:
Alongside with the anime, Code Geass will be adapted into manga comics, but it WON’T be drawn by CLAMP, the person responsible for the art is known as Magico (マジコ).
The first chapter will be published in the October edition of Asuka magazine, out on the next August 24th. It’ll be 64-pages long, plus color pages.
Also, the official Code Geass website has been updated with some more info about the anime.
The opening theme will be performed by the band FLOW, who also performed the 4th OP of the Naruto anime.
They also added an image movie that you can check here. There’s no animation on it, it’s more like a slideshow of images with an annoying background music. although I’m happy CLAMP is in the first place at the credits xDD

I think that holic’s ‘choice’ episode may (FINALLY!) be about a woman with whom Watanuki was meeting in the park (since Doumeki made a choice to save Watanuki, even if the boy would hate him afterwards). I love that arc, I hope that the art of this episode will not be as crappy as in 15/16…
and yeah, Bee-Train sucks and swallows, my contempt for the anime is beyond words (I don’t know why I keep watching it then…)!!! I understand that they keep up with the lame fillers to stick to Rekoruto as long as they can. well, the X world awaits, though it may be too a little to oldschool CLAMP-ish for Bee-Train’s taste XD

Tsubasa anime is still a dissapointment…
….Xxxholic 21 – Temptation is soooo weird
basically: Doumeki brings meat to watanuki’s house (as a gift) and they end up eating sukiyaki(umm, bit like Japanese BBQ? can’t explain). Well he eats too much and lie down. Doumeki said “If you sleep right after you eat you’ll be a cow”. “have you seen anyone become a cow?” Watanuki ignores him… BUT
soo watanoki ends up becoming a cow I guess

I think the episosde titles shall be announced near the release of the 8th DVD, I hope sooner than that anyway ^^

God…When I think that in the Rekoruto world, we were to supposed to see clone|Syaoran for the very first time + Fye using his magic for the first time too…it turned unto a big and very ugly mess… Tsubasa could have been one of the best anime of the moment if Bee-Train did their job right with it. There’re 26 episodes, let’s hope the 7 remaining episodes are not going to give us all heart’s attacks! 😦

But you’re so right… MAYBE BeeTrain is not FULLY responsible for all the crapness. NHK is definitely NOT the proper channel for it. BUT, one thing it’s true: TC would be WAY better if it was made by Madhouse u_u

i agree with you. Is not only the problem with the censored blood, the episodes are crap too slow!! And the animation. god, when i think in other animes with a really bad story, but a great animation, i fell like crying for tsubasa. i hope maybe because recent events, they would abandon, and some other studio may finish for every body´s sake!!

Even though I watch the anime of TRC, I say that the side episodes are making the show weak. But not only that, they are also trying to push the main events in Tokyo at the end of season 2. I only like Episode 37 “Scribbling Mokona” from the side episodes because both the story and the way it was drawed (chibi-sized) was funny (especially Kurogane as the sensei and a kaijuu). Beam!!!
I should agree with the rest that Bee-Train productions should have not been making the TRC anime. Maybe it should have been with the production that made Cardcaptor Sakura anime. It would’ve made the TRC anime have the same great impact along with CCS anime if it was like that. I’m just hope that the Holic anime is not licensed with Bee-Train.
Anyway, I love the cover of CLAMP Newtype Platinum with the character from X (I just started to get to know that series closely). Domo arigatou gozaimasu, x-regg for the cover scans.
Also, arigatou gozaimasu to Chibi-Yuuto for the information on the episode updates of Holic and Tsubasa anime. I can’t wait to see the Mid-August updates for the Holic and Tsubasa manga.

All the rest of the eps are crap though… Even the animation is low quality… (too much obvious ‘freezing’ and other crap)

That´s the only episode i like too!! The chibis were really cute, and the story was funny- ah, syao almost kiss sakura. i hope some day we will see that kiss-_-
The other only thing i like about tsubasa anime is the music. syao theme is great (well, in fact,his voice is also good, but the animation,and his hair!! poor syao!)
Let´s hope clamp would do somethin about this, or maybe the bee-train quit because the tokyo bloodyness and gore. i really hope so. tsubasa deserves a better anime, the story is great to be animated, but this crap is too boring, too bad. nobody like it, and i hope that will change before for the last part.

I definitely have to agree about that. I too like the music from the anime and the seijyuu from the five characters. Especially Miyu Irino (Syaoran), Tetsu Inada (Kurogane), and Yui Makino (Sakura-hime).

Oh, so close yet so far on that part! But I’m sure that we will get to see that kiss (especially the fangirls ^o^). Only time will tell. The part when Syaoran and Sakura get blasted off (not once, but twice) and when Kurogane is eaten by the flower Mokona is very funny.
I too hope that CLAMP will make a sudden change on the anime. I know that everyone who is a true hardcore CLAMP fan wants the blood and gore in the Tokyo story.(Onegai shimasu, CLAMP!)

It’s sad that Yuki Kajiura works for such a bad company.
I love the TC background music, and her .hack and Noir work was lovely. Too bad .hack//SIGN was a bit of a disappointment and that TC is the horrible disaster it is.

We´ll see too about X, the truth is that with this news we all got a little anxiuos and I don´t wanna start thinking illusions that later it may not become truth. But indeed is extremelly good that those chapters come up because something… SOMTHING is going to happen, somebody in the industry has to wake up and say "hey this is a terrific manga why the hell it isn´t being published?!".

You know, I seriously don’t care about it… why would I be worring about something that I’m SURE that WILL happen? They will screw it up as they did so far, so better not to care about it.
Some animes are a MUST WATCH IT, like CCS. Others are “optional”, like all the other CLAMP animes. But the only one you should AVOID is Tsubasa Chronicle !

I see your point about X but, it’s way better than nothing, right? Shows that CLAMP, Kadokawa, or whoever came up with this idea still care about X ^^ And we’ll get a new color art, and probably some pages about it ^^

This makes me very glad I gave up on the anime after I saw the first two episodes. I saw how Yuuko looked and sounded, ran, and then waited for the xxxHolic anime to start airing.
I’m happy about the X news though. It could be that they’re putting in the last five chapters to refresh people’s memories, as there’s very few ways to read them legally. This could be good sign.

Yeah, this season will be 26-episodes long as well. Indeed they could fit the X world easily on the remaining 8, or 7 because I think Piffle shall take another episode.
But I’m thinking that they’ll fill with original episodes.

I’m trying to puzzle through that episode summary, because work is boring. Here’s what I can make out:
Watanuki is on a day off from Yuuko and he’s looking for manga to read in his room. Before he finds it, Doumeki comes bring provisions along with [pine hill cows], he’s made sukiyaki, but Watanuki is eating too much, suddenly Doumeki says, “If you eat too much you’ll turn into a cow,” referring to a superstition. Kyaa, I stumbled upon your livejournal, and it was like opening a present on Christmas! I’ve recently just gotten very much into Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, and have become addicted. (That’ what happens when your favorite series begins to die down. *Clings to her Furuba*). I’m adoring it so far, and have been trying to get into xxxHolic as well. Your journal provides a lot of helpful information! Thank you!
I have a question. Do you know when the next Tsubasa Chapter is expected to be released? I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere, and was hoping that some one here might possibly be able to tell me.

holding to the vain hope that this will be all of chapter 19 rather than a portion…though new X art is a nice compensation if this doesn’t prove the case.
As much as the Tsubasa anime is annoying me I can’t seem to stop watching it…fear I’ve been drawn in by the hope that we’ll get the ‘x’ world chapters in this series!

I really do hope they won’t rush the X arc to make it fit the rest of the season. I mean, for one, they’re probably going to cut out Syaoran eating Fye’s eye, especially if they didn’t have the younger version of Kurogane going all gun-ho on that monster. Clone Syaoran seriously MADE that arc all the more cooler for me, and if they don’t include it, then I’ll be one sad fangirl.

I’m kind of a lurker around these parts, but I thought I’d point out that HOLiC episode 19 wasn’t technically a filler… it was a horiible bastardisation of chapter 96. I think the anime’s beginning to overuse the Zashiki and Ame Warashi, those two were never in half of those storylines.
The anime’s getting bad about showing episodes based on storylines after the events of volume 7 before they show any of the important elements of volume 7 itself.

Bee Train is just retarded in a way. I respect them for .hack//SIGN, but DUSK just seemed kinda… ‘plah’ in a way for me after the manga.
Anyways. Back on topic. The TRC anime would have been better if they stuck to the original storyline, I believe. The xxxHOLiC anime was marginally better, but the snowball fight made me go WTF?!
