CLAMP NEWS !!


Card Captor Sakura:
Channel NHK BSｈi will air the second movie, The Sealed Card, on July 28th. This will coincide with the end of CCS’s rebroadcasting on NHK, scheduled for the beginning of August.

Tsubasa:
– Next chapters scheduled (red means new):

06/28 – Shonen Magazine #30 – No Tsubasa scheduled (on sale).
07/05 – Shonen Magazine #31 – Chapter 121.
07/12 – Shonen Magazine #32 – No Tsubasa scheduled (CLAMP changed that. Chapter 122 was supposed to be published in this edition).
07/19 – Shonen Magazine #33 – Chapter 122.
07/26 – Shonen Magazine #34 – Chapter 123.

Too bad about the break u.u

XXXHOLiC
– Next chapters scheduled (red means new):

06/26 – Young Magazine #30 – Chapter 111 (on sale).
07/03 – Young Magazine #31 – Chapter 112.
07/10 – Young Magazine #32 – Chapter 113 (CLAMP changed that as well, this time for our own good, there was originally no chapter scheduled).
07/15 – Young Magazine #33 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled.
07/24 – Young Magazine #34 – No XXXHOLiC scheduled.
07/31 – Young Magazine #35 – Chapter 114.

Magazine:
I previously posted that CLAMP would draw an image as a reader gift for Newtype’s special magazine Newtype Romance, but until then we had no word on what kind of image. Today it was announced that it’ll be a XXXHOLiC image. The magazine is out on July 10th.

DVD:
As if A-L-L the wonderful stuff regarding the XXXHOLiC DVDs (there’s more? Yup !) weren’t enough, now we have more details about the 100 Stories Special Drama CDs, that will be presented for those who purchase all 8 volumes:

Supervision: Ageha Ohkawa.
Script: Michiko Yokote, Ageha Ohkawa, Yoshiki Sakurai.

Just perfect, isn’t it? *-* I’m sure Ohkawa-sensei will have loads of fun writing/supervising these horror stories.

Just reminding, the first DVD, with a bunch of privileges and a gorgeous box to keep vols 1~4, is out on July 27th.

ETC:
It has been decided the release of Newtype CLAMP Special Magazines:

CLAMP Newtype [PLATINUM]: September/2006
CLAMP Newtype [PASTEL]: October/2006.

New SDs:
CLAMP updated the Profile section (about time !) So make sure to check the brand new SDs of CLAMP Members. They look beyond adorable *-*
CLAMP-PLA.NET also has new SDs.

Before I go, I have two things to say:

First, good luck to EVERYBODY attending Anime Expo, which starts today, I hope you guys will be able to meet them and have a wonderful time ^__^ I want reports and information, you people ! XD

And last but not at all least, I’d like to wish a Happy Birthday to my more-than-dear friend oujiro_chan !! ^___^ I wish you the best that someone can have. *insert here upside-down exclamation point* Feliz Cumpleaños !

    • You have to be registered in the CLAMP@MOBiLE service. But this service is only available for japanese people so technically, there’s no way to get into their boards by our own.

  2. i’m wondering about the newtype magazines (i found where to buy them cheaper than i usually buy them for!! not that i normally buy them..).

    are the CLAMP Newtype magazines with the normal Newtype magazines? or are they a separate purchase? and what’s with the august issue thing i saw on the white booklet? .___.

    anyways, it’s weird why i’m asking you this, so it’s okay if you don’t know ^__^

    • I wonder that too ! And it’s not a weird question at all ^^

      I THINK these will also come with the magazine as an appendix. There’s no information about prices but it could come up later. But, for now, I’ll consider them as appendixes ^^

    2 Weeks without XXXholic?! Nooooo. Why CLAMP Whyyyyyy?? o.O; OMG. Horror stories made by a CLAMP member! YES! *dances* How exciting!

    Anime Expo!! ;___; I was supposed to go but due to lack of money (and the fact that I was the only girl going with a bunch of guys…o.o;) and other stuff I couldn’t. Darn.

    I could’ve bought something CLAMP-related or something. @_@; Ah well. I told my friends that were gonna go without me to get me something anyway. *snickers* 😛 I told them preferrably Tsubasa, CCS or XXXholic-related. I wonder…^^;

So sorry I can´t help but to cry… you caught me unguard…>.< …I am sorry but: *Glomps, glomps and more glomps!* XDOK, onto the entry (i better stop ´cause I am so touched and this comment is going to end so pathetic with me crying and thanking so I better repress a little bit ¬¬U):Talking about CCS movie, well this re-runs are no coincidence, talking with some nihonjins I heard twice that CCS´s story and Sakura as a figure, has become bigger and important in japanese culture like if it was a folklore story… is amazing how people know it, is like you won´t find anyone in japan who doesn´t know it, amazing trully amazing…The hiatus was kinda probable right? with all the work (AX, Newtype stuff, Kobato, TRC and Holic, and GD now XD) I was expecting it. Since they don´t use assistant for work wit will be unhuman for just 4 persons to do all that.OK, i don´t want the 100 ghost stories drama cds… I NEED THEM! Ineed them to keep alive! I will die knowing they exist and I don´t listen it! XD I hope with all my heart it will be available somewhere…probably yes, right? ^^Uabout Platinium an pastel, would you please let us know when some other news come up…(haha like I do need to request information here XD knowing this is TEH PLACE for Clamp related info…) I am so hoping to be books (wide books XD).And the new SD´s are soooo alike tem!       (I had one year of spanish classes in school, but it was such a LONG time ago… and I didn’t pay much attention to it because everybody was doing anything BUT paying attention XD)

      About CCS’s success: I KNOW ! And I’m so proud of that ^___^

      I think the XXXHOLiC Special Drama CDs will probably show up at the internet as well. I’ll definitely post here if I find anything, don’t you worry ^^

      About Pastel and Platinum, I’ll SURELY post anything related to them here. Because I’m so curious as well *-* I hope they’ll be bigger than 30 pages too ;__;
