– P IG and Ohkawa-sensei officially considers XXXHOLiC as a shoujo XD
– CLAMP is officially looking for another magazine to serialize X, then. Good. And she was asked “oh-so-many-times” about it, nice.
– CLAMP wanted to create a legendary aura by not appearing on the media XDD They certainly did ! But I never heard of the 8 Nanase Ohkawa rumor xD (I did hear one about a man among them xDDD).

That’s right. And maybe they will see that it’s not a soooo big problem to publish it then. I mean, the Germans make one film about their past on another and no one is yelling that they should stop with it. To stop X because of such things seems a bit funny to me (but anyway, I can understand the publishers).

Ah, they have that pretty excuse justification for having stopped doing X but what about GD? Did it have earthquakes and violence and stuff? [inster long list of complaints here] ~.~

Asuka has other magazines that are more focused on BL (shounen ai) or shounen aish stories so I can’t see a problem there, especially since GD’s story didn’t really change, it was always the same way.
GD could have been published on one of the others magazines that depend from Asuka, if they thought they story was not OK for Asuka itself. In GD’s case they can’t say that “times changed”… what was so wrong about GD that Asuka didn’t want it?
Besides, if they’re looking for a new mag now, why didn’t they do it before… GRRRR —> won’t forgive CLAMP until they give her what she wants XDDD
If they would at least tell us the truth… T__T (I want to trust CLAMP but… I can’t XD)

Maybe the shounen ai-ism isn’t the problem. Mystery DX is out of circulation? Maybe they mean that GD is a suspense/mystery story. Asuka is SO shoujo/girly these latest issues, that I think I understand them.
CLAMP said that ASUKA gave them a “chance” to publish at least until vol. 3. Apparently, they always knew that it was a temporary magazine. This is in the CLAMP No Kiseki magazine if I’m not mistaken.

Só queria ler o final… mas achei engraçado essa parte… Lembrei-me de uma carta postada na ml que participo que fala só sobre shoujo mangá, é do Matt Thorn (antropólogo, professor no Japão e tradutor de mangás). Vou colocar um trecho:
“Asuka is a “shoujo manga” magazine, but it specializes in science fiction and fantasy that appeal to an “otaku” reader. Otaku (both male and female) are less concerned with gender boundaries than are most non-otaku, so many of the works published in Asuka appeal to male otaku, and many of the works seem rather “masculine””

Então, acho estranho essa desculpa de não querer publicar por causa do conteúdo “shounen”
Parece-me que aconteceu o mesmo com Yami no Matsuei (foi o que me disseram, como eu li só o começo…), a revista Hana to Yume (Fruits Basket, Hana Kimi, Gakuen Alice) teria reclamado por causa do conteúdo forte (yaoi) e violento. Estava fugindo da proposta da revista… etc.. etc… E que a mangaka largou no meio do caminho e acabou sendo finalizado por outra… Acho isso chato…
Pelo jeito, vamos ter que esperar uma eternidade ¬¬
Sobre XXXHolic, já deu polêmica… Mas se há títulos shounen que confundem muita gente, antes eu via a revista na qual era publicada mas pelo jeito já nem dá pra classificar assim u.u Eu acho XXXHolic híbrido mas se a Ohkawa está falando assim…
Ah! Vc viu os números de CCS?! Legal, né?! Eu acho incrível já que os 3 primeiros colocados tem mais de 30 vols, aliás a maioria deles… Um deles tem quase 50 o_o’ CCS vendeu 1 milhão por cópia?! Bom, X deve ter ficado abaixo dos 10 milhões p/ não ter entrado na lista u.u

Bom, eu acho q esse cara ta meio xarope… Asuka “masculino”? Eu naum concordo naum… principalmente agora, esses ultimos meses, a Asuka ta mó coisinha shoujo XDDD olha so as capas q tem DN Angel, akilo pode ser chamado de “Kawaii”. O unico manga q eu sei q é mais dark q ta sendo publicado la é Trinity Blood. Mas o resto ta bem shoujo, ate o logo ta mais shoujo XD
Eu tb acho xxxholic hibrido, e talvez a Ohkawa tava so concordando com o Ishikawa.
Bom, se algum dia vc souber quanto X vendeu, por favor me avise ^^

Tem Harlem Beat que de kawaii não tem nada… Sei lá… Acho que a Kadokawa deu uma desculpa esfarrapada p/ não publicar X já que as meninas não estavam cedendo… ¬¬ Como nunca comprei Asuka fica difícil falar sobre os mangás que são publicados lá. Tem algumas revistas onde os mangás falam de prostituição, drogas, estupro, etc (como a Betsufure/Kodansha) E não foram censurados como X foi… Eu acho esses assuntos tão violento qto… Acho que nesse quesito, CLAMP é bem light…
Sobre essa entrevista, está dano o que falar na lista. Há quem diga que Ohkawa está visando o mercado americano já que shoujos estão em alta por lá… Preferi ficar quieta… O povo lá pega no pé delas e a discussão não chega em lugar nenhum. O pessoal tá fazendo tempestade em copo d’água >.>Bom, se algum dia vc souber quanto X vendeu, por favor me avise ^^

Ah eu naum vejo o pq deles estarem mentindo, X vende pra caramba e é um dos maiores sucessos da Asuka, acho q naum da pra publicar msm, embora eu acho q eles quisessem.
Vai ver o publico da Asuka é diferente do publico dessa revista q vc falo, q deve ser mais pra adultos eu acho.

Tomodachi no Shoujo no yahoo. É uma ml onde a maioria dos participantes tem mais 25 anos… A moderadora odeia (ela fala que não mas..) CLAMP e acaba sempre encaixando alguma crítica em assuntos nada a ver ¬¬ Uma vez circulou um off topic sobre um cara que prefere viver c/ uma boneca inflável… Lógico, ela já citou Chobits -__- Apesar de existir “N” mangás que abordam o mesmo assunto… Como 80% dos participantes são professores, eles acham que certos mangás são mais intelectualizados que CLAMP e juntando a minha profissão (eles juram que não são preconceituosos) que p/ eles, acham que eu me ligo mais em futilidades… Já viu a bomba que está se formando >.<
Antes brigava muito mas agora eu deixo esse povo falar… E olha que pegaram pesado nesta semana ò_ó

O que me segura nessa ml são as news que de vez em qdo são bem legais, como o número de vendas de shoujos no Jp… O negócio não esquentar muito e não responder p/ não prolongar a discussão ¬¬
Sobre XXXHolic, eu comprei hj e tb não gostei dese negócio de economizarem as páginas coloridas… Eles aumentaram mas a qualidade deixa a desejar. Não sei se vc compra outro mangá da JBC… Em Fruits Basket, há trechos que nem dá p/ ler direito. >.

Hahahahaha I don’t know XD Maybe Ohkawa was just agreeing with Ishikawa has just said (since he told it was a shoujo firstly XD). But I guess CLAMP really considers it a shoujo because of the whole Watanuki/Doumeki thing, which is subtle but it IS there as we all know.
If I remember well, I saw in an interview that CLAMP doesn’t really consider not only XXXHOLiC, but also Tsubasa as a shounen.
