CLAMP Masters of Manga

This week we don’t have neither Tsubasa nor XXXHOLiC, but ladydarkmoon-san managed to make this week as cheerful as the other ones ^__^ Thank you my dear *bows*

There’s an american book called “Masters of Manga” where the writer got to review and interview various famous mangakas, including, of course, our favorite ones.

The material is VERY good indeed. There’s a very nice interview where we get to know more about the process of creation of the CLAMP mangas, how they make certain decisions, how they present their work to the publishers, how is their routine, stuff like that.
The guy who writes the review is excellent ! He talks about CLAMP in such a nice way, he really valuates CLAMP’s work and if someday I was to write a review on CLAMP, I would write very similar to him ^__^

And last but not least, we get to see some pics of CLAMP working on Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC ^__^

    Hi Chibi Yuuto, your page is so cool!! You always post some very cool clamp material, 30% of the clamp folder on my pc comes from your page (and 30% it´s a lot). My name is Alesio and I´m from Argentina, hey on clamp no kiseki #12 they show a image of kobato I haven´t see before (that of kobato dancing o whatever she is doing while fujimoto plays the piano) and I have the four chapters of Kobato (I got three from a mexican site and the missing one, the firts one, from your site). I´m looking for that beautiful sd that appear on the clamp no kiseki chess box but there aren´t in any page, how come nobody scanned them?   2. Thanks for the file!!!
    But…I don’t know why it doesn’t work for me.
    I downloaded twice, first with Get Right and then the normal way, but both times it said the file was corrupt.

    • Maybe free.fr has this “thing” for some people .___.
      You still can’t download it?
      I see some people could do it okay…
      I don’t know what that can be… I zipped it in the highest quality ._.

  4. Wait, Gohou Drug has 4 volumes??? It thought they only made 3… or is that some kind of misinformed typo? o_O?

    Uwa~ There’s so much detail (they even listed CLAMP’s tools!!♥).

    What?! Then what about Dragons of Heaven & the Seven Seals in X? Or Shaoron’s “price” to save Sakura in TRC? ;-; IMO, they think wrong.

    • I thought the SAME !
      But here’s what I think they meant:
      I think the fans, critics mean sacrifice in a “Bigger” meaning… like, dying to the sake of the EARTH, or for someone’s else happiness rather than him/herself…
      CLAMP charas indeed, they are kind of selfish.

  12. Thank you for posting this. It was interesting. One of the Clover pictures with Suu in flight reminds me of first scene with Sakura and Syaoran in Tsubasa.

  13. snif… i dont know why i can not open the last .zip files u have upload to your site…

    I have only could open K-dash (wonderful!!) but holic95.zip, trc101.zip, clampnokiseki12.zip and the last one, CLAMP Masters of Manga.zip are imposible to open =____=Uuuu
