Hn…. the animation has me a bit disappointed. I was expecting the flying feathers to be more impressive, as the scene with Sakura in front of the weird symbol. Also…. pink light? Geeze. Sakura is not that girly. I’m also torn on Shaoran’s voice.
But I like Yukito’s magical symbol, yessss.

hn… well… I’m a girl, but since I’m not exactly keen on most things girly girls seem to appreciate (like yaoi or having boyfriends), I might not be the best person to analise her.
I think I’m just a little frustrated that Sakura suddenly reminded me of my extremely girly older sister. I wish they’d have used white for her wings, at least, it’d look more like light and less like a cell with a semi-transparent effect.
My problem with the trailer was that the pinkness and the flow of the animation (that wasn’t bad, but could be better) made it hard for me to suspend disbelief and see it as something real and tangible, instead of a… cartoon trailer. I mean, can you imagine exploring an ancient ruin, finding a magical door and… pink light flowing out when you open it? It sorta clashes. Golden light is overused, I know, but a white, almost bluish light at most would have looked better, in my opinion.
I suppose I’m just not enough of a girl to appreciate pink XD;;

Pink, white, gold, blue…those are just colors. It is us, society, that give them meaning. Being a girl has nothing to do with colors. I think pink suits Sakura not because she is a girl, but because her name means cherryblossom and cherryblossoms are not blue, white or golden…they are pink. Nature turned cherryblossoms pink and cherryblossoms are not “girly” or “manly” or anything, they are just plants.

…uh, look, I have nothing wrong against pink in itself. I just think it was badly used. It’s just my opinion as a watercolor artist, used to dealing with colors. The pink was out of place, period. It’s my opinion.

Syaoran’s Voice
Hmm. I think I’m rather torn on his voice too. It’s too much….”general run of the mill what were you expecting?” Which now means I feel just a bit nauseus because Syaoran’s badass air from CCS always lingers over and him being older but with a high pitched voice frightens me. Please, oh, please Sakura don’t sound too bad…

Well, I like the voice actors. Strange though, Sakura loosing her feathers is different then it was in the manga. Didn’t Syaoran pull her out of something and was holding her when her feathers took off? In this anime preview she falls out of nowhere and her wings kinda break up…. bizzare.
Fai looks fat. Negitive ten points.

He is holding her also in the anime scene.:)I watched that scene closely,very slowly,and you can see Syaoran’s cape..he is holding her very tightly so it’s difficult to figure out at first..:)

Firsts of all thanks for posting the preview ^_^.
The problem is that I downloaded it and I can hear it but I can’t see it. I was wondering if you could suggest me anything so I could see it. Its OK if there is nothing you can do, at least you posted the screencaps. Thanks again!

You could also get VLC player. That plays all those file types that others can’t play.
