It was just pure bliss being there singing and freaking out with my favorite singer, it was a dream coming true for sure. Hopefully this was only the first of many more to come!

For the readers of this humble journal, I would just like to give some updates on its owner. I have finally finished my design major! It was a long, long journey, as long as this livejournal.
I’ve learned a lot,
I’ve grown a lot,
I’ve changed a lot,
I’ve met the greatest people,
I’ve pushed myself to my own edges,
I’ve scared myself,
I’ve stressed myself,
I’ve broke my own paradigms,
I’ve given my best,
I’ve given my worst,
I’ve made it.
Yesterday we presented our graduation work, which took us an entire year of research and development, and we managed to obtain the highest grade! It just couldn’t end in a better way. I would like to seize this opportunity and publicly thank flash-guru shinigami31 for his enlightening technical support in the final stages of development (having met people through LJ turns out to be very helpful in those times ^^).
(I was much more hysterical last night XD By now the excitement has gone but the gratitude remains. Check my twitter for real-time reactions xD).
It’s a chapter of my life that ends and a new one that begins, and I’m ready for it! (but first, I need to rest a little~ xD)
In case you haven’t heard it, ladydarkmoon is back for good and she has awesomely caught up with everything, including Tsubasa, XXXHOLiC and Kobato.

The Room of Requirement opens its doors again and has been majorly updated to host these recently released chapters.

It’s nice to get back to the old schedule again, and I want to get back on writing chapter commentaries as well =) Alison’s absence, duties with both my work and university, and the constant breaks (during these 4 months, only 9 chapters of Tsubasa were released, and only 7 for XXXHOLiC), all those things kept me very off-track. But I had hope she would return, so I decided to wait, sometimes it’s nice to take a break =)
And this one will stay! xD
The previous one stayed for only 3 days, but as I was building it I knew it wouldn’t stay for long, I just wanted to change it quickly, and also learn how to work with S2.
I finally figured out the wonders of what S2 and CSS can do together, it’s amazing and much more flexible to work with them, I wish I had changed it earlier (but even if I wanted I wouldn’t have the time).
Another good thing of working with this new design architecture is that I don’t have to worry about making wallpapers anymore (it was too much space to fill, honestly xD). Working with banners opens whole new design possibilities and I’m already having different and challenging ideas for my future layouts.
I chose this Tsubasa picture basically because of two reasons. The first reason is that I really like this illustration, I intended to use the Syaoran from this picture on my confessions on a dance floor Tsubasa layout xD But as I know I ended up not using it. The other reason is that this was the first Tsubasa illustration released to the public right after the series was announced, and since we are reaching the end of it after these 5 long years, there’s this nostalgic feeling around it.
Despite of being the very first Tsubasa illustration released to the public, it’s amazing how the art style hasn’t changed at all. If you look at the early illustrations of CCS or Rayearth, for example, and compare them to latter ones, you’ll notice significants improvements in CLAMP’s art. That doesn’t seem to be the case here.
I know there isn’t anything extraordinary in this layout, but again, due to time issues I wasn’t able to do anything extraordinary xD I promise, though, that I will push the edge further on my next layout.
The layout is not the only news today, from this day on I’m launching a new feature that I have developed, the CLAMP Widget, or whatever you would like to call it xD
This little flash application is placed on a fixed post on my livejournal and it shows the upcoming CLAMP releases (merchandises, events, media appearances etc) and the manga schedule for their current series, as a quick way of checking what’s coming next from CLAMP. The design was strongly based on CLAMP-NET.COM’s current design, as you could possibly have noticed.
You can also incorporate it into your own blog, website or anywhere else you might want to add it, and the information on it will be automatically updated from whenever you have placed it.
So browse around, welcome to this new chapter of my livejournal, always aiming to keep you up-to-date about CLAMP and their activities.

I wish the final stamp would have the original concept’s colors, but due to color limitations for that kind of stamp, I had to make a few adjustments. Thankfully I was satisfied with the final result. What do you all think? XD

Yesterday was the birthday of Mokona, the woman whose hands were blessed by the gods. Congratulations Mokona-sensei!
I’m sure she must be a huge source of inspiration for many artists out there, and I’m also sure she must be responsible for bringing a good part of their readers into reading CLAMP for the first time. The visual appeal was the first contact with CLAMP for most people, I believe, including myself.
That being said, I can only wish this talented and multitasking woman to keep progressing as an artist and keep surprising us with different and beautiful drawing styles. Mangas, Kimonos, cocktails, jewelery, what’s next? You rock, Mokona xD
All members wished her a happy birthday but this time Nekoi hasn’t drawn anything for the occasion (pity). She apologized for that.
It’s still Dec. 31 in Brazil, so it still counts. Today is my Live Journal’s 3rd birthday!!! Yeah, even though I created my account a few months earlier, 3 years ago I was making my first post!

I created this new account in order to write things that I judge not appropriate for this one. I will keep posting CLAMP news here and only here, nothing will change for chibiyuuto.
Sometimes I feel the need to write or design things that aren’t necessarily related to CLAMP, and that account was born from that desire. See it as an opportunity to know other sides of me ^^
I’ve been testing it for the past… 8 months xD, to see if that’s what I really want to do, and I think today is a great day to formally open it.
