The comic is drawn by Magico, and even though the design is based on CLAMP’s character concept, the art is not nearly as pretty as it would be if it were done by CLAMP, of course XD

Either way, I thought the art was overall kinda poor, not to mention the guy uses CG to for the color pages, eww… So I don’t think I’ll be following the manga unless the story really attracts me.

On another note, the opening date for the anime of Code Geass has been announced: Thursday, October 5th at 1:25 am on MBS channel (though there are other secondaries channels which the anime will be broadcasted too).

After learning that FLOW will be singing the OP Theme, now we got the information that ALI PROJECT will be performing the ED Theme Song of the Code Geass anime.

ALI PROJECT worked with CLAMP before singing the songs for Wish and CLAMP Campus Detectives anime.

EDIT: I just found out the song title is “Yuukiou Seishuka” (勇侠青春謳).

Long time no see ! I like ALI PROJECT and that’s one more reason to look forward to this anime ^__^

Also, joining the cast are:

Karen: Ami Koshimizu (Kanoko of Sweet Valerian. Kanoko is the blond one xD).
Nanaly (ナナリー): Kaori Nazuka (Chii of Tsubasa Chronicle).
Mirei (ミレイ): Sayaka Ohara (Yuuko of XXXHOLiC).
Rival (リヴァル): Noriaki Sugiyama (Sasuke of Naruto).
Nina(ニーナ): Saeko Chiba (Oruha of Tsubasa Chronicle).
Sayoko (沙世子): Satomi Arai

(I translated the names myself and even though they are in katakana I’m not so sure about them XD I’ll update them as the official ones come.)

Good people, huh? Now all we need to know is who is who XD

CLAMP will be doing the Original Character Design for a new anime series entitled Code Gears – Rebellion of Lelouch, which is set to start on October (in BLOOD+’s place).

Maybe this is what that feature in Gundam’s magazine I previously posted is all about O.o Because the anime is about robots.

Anyway, it looks very interesting ! I always wanted to see CLAMP doing the character design for a non-CLAMP anime or even for video-games, they have talent for that, of course. We’ve seen CLAMP doing mechas before in Rayearth and we all know they kick ass. I’ll be certainly watching at least the 1st episode ^^

EDIT: Tricianna just let me know that there are pics available here (the very last post of the thread). One of the guys looks like a mix of Kamui and Kobato’s Debt Collector xD Both look very nice, actually.

EDIT 2: And here (original sketches ! THEY LOOK SO OMG !!! *-*) I’m SO watching this series if the design follows CLAMP’s lines.
