Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ #5 third week sales report

The fifth volume of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ dropped to the 27th position in Oricon’s weekly ranking, with an estimate of 41,401 copies sold in its third week of sales — which represents around a 50% drop. It has sold an estimate of 217,100 copies after three weeks on sale.

The above numbers are for the regular edition, only. Sale numbers for the Special Edition (Nendoroid Puchi) are unknown.

Once again, these are the lowest third week sales and lowest accumulated sales after two weeks for the entire Clear Card series. Sure enough, these are only for regular edition, but these are the parameters that we are working with.

It is worth mentioning that Oricon only takes into account a certain number of shops. These numbers are only an estimate and it’s possible that the real figures are higher than these.

The fifth volume of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ remained solid at the 6th position in Oricon’s weekly ranking, with an estimate of 51,121 copies sold in its second week of sales. It has sold an estimate of 192,699 copies after two weeks on sale. That is slightly less than the 199,381 copies sold achieved by volume 4 after two weeks.

The above numbers are for the regular edition, only. Sale numbers for the Special Edition (Nendoroid Puchi) are unknown.

While it’s good news that it remained solid at the 6th place, I can’t help but notice that this are the lowest second week sales and lowest accumulated sales after two weeks for the entire Clear Card series. Sure enough, these are only for regular edition, but these are the parameters that we are working with.

It is worth mentioning that Oricon only takes into account a certain number of shops. These numbers are only an estimate and it’s possible that the real figures are higher than these.

It will probably reappear in rankings for the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

The fifth volume of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ debutted at the 6th position in Oricon’s weekly ranking, with an estimate of 141,578 copies sold in its first week of sales.

The above numbers are for the regular edition, only. Sale numbers for the Special Edition (Nendoroid Puchi) are unknown.

While the ranking position is rather low (6th place), these numbers are slightly smaller than the first week sales of volume 1, which to this date holds the record of highest first week sales, and volume 3. In other words, this volume started off really good, specially if you take into account that these are only the regular edition sales. It missed the 5th place by a slight. There were really strong titles competing as well (Dragon Ball and the giant One Piece).

It is worth mentioning that Oricon only takes into account a certain number of shops. These numbers are only an estimate and it’s possible that the real figures are higher than these.

I was a little worried since the sales were showing a decreasing trend after volume 1, but this volume might just have what it takes to overcome the sales of the previous volumes.

Great first week sales for volume 5! It will probably reappear in rankings for the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
