The thirteenth volume of Card Captor Sakura ~Clear Card arc~ dropped to the 14th position in Oricon’s weekly ranking, with an estimate of 26,542 copies sold in its second week of sales for the regular edition. The Special Edition (Big Acrylic Stands) did not appear on the weekly top 30.
Last week I reported that the Special Edition sales numbers were unknown, but it turns out that I was able to find from a different source that the Special Edition (Big Acrylic Stands) debuted on the 40th position in its first week, with an estimate of 15,042 copies sold in its first week.
This changes things a bit and it means that combining the first and second week sales, volume 13 sold an overall estimate of 94,869 copies, outselling the overall sales of volume 12 in its second week!
It’s good to see this uptake for Clear Card in its final stage.
It is always worth mentioning that Oricon only takes into account a certain number of shops and preorders are likely not taken into account. These numbers are only an estimate and it’s possible that the real figures are higher than these.
