We’re getting so many color spreads lately! And this one is very real-time as they are both wearing the play’s costumes.

So apparently there is nothing wrong with Syaoran and he decided to play the cat willingly. Assuming of course it really is Syaoran and not a copy or a mirrored version of him, if you know what I mean (it’s probably not the case, though). Still, he seems suspicious about the whole thing so he might know a thing or two about what’s to come.

Kero and Suppi are indeed at the premises (of course). The only ones missing really are Eriol and Kaho. Unless….?

Am I the only one trying to draw parallels with the Cat’s lines to Alice as things Kaito would say to Sakura (or Akiho)?

Those writings on the clock on page 14… what are those?

I don’t know if Sakura’s shocking expression when she sees Akiho as the Red Queen is genuine or acting xD

The dress that Akiho is wearing, at least the sleeves are very similar to the dress that Sakura saw in the dream that she would be wearing by the time she meets the Mysterious Cloaked Figure. Except the colors are opposite (of course).

The same pattern is shown when Akiho, or the Red Queen, hesitates before telling her name to Sakura, or Alice. We’ve seen that during their rehearsals as well.

Sakura and Akiho vanish from the stage and that was apparently not on the script (oops), although the audience was very pleased on how convincing that special effect felt!

So Syaoran got inside the “door” and is now on the same space as Sakura, Akiho, Kaito and probably Momo. The “showdown” will be among these 5, unless Eriol and Kaho are around. Everyone else remained on the “other side”, frozen in time thanks to Nadeshiko’s power.

We will soon learn about Touya’s new power, but we know now that it’ll help Sakura this time around (instead of Yukito). We’ve also learned what Yukito and Nakuru were doing at the Tsukimine Shrine, it was so that the town could turn into night time in order for Touya’s power become even stronger — after all, Touya’s own powers are within Yukito/Yue and they are the ones making the day turn into night and feeding themselves from Moon power, on top of it all. Everything is in place.

Yukito’s cat-like eyes look really cool. Those are Yue’s eyes. It’s like the perfect merge between Yukito and Yue.

Touya and Nadeshiko were talking about Sakura’s powers and how she might not be able to handle them on her own. That made me think that Touya’s power will somehow address that. Something to aid Sakura managing her powers.

We even had Kero and Suppi being uncovered by Touya, at long last (it only took 25 volumes).

Everything is in place, all the players and pieces. The only thing missing is that one card Kaito needs Sakura to create…
